Level 29, 680 George St Sydney NSW 2000, Australia.
Eligibility
1.
The Competition is open to
entrants who are permanent residents of
Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia,
Singapore,
South Af
rica, Spain, New Zealand, United Kingdom,
Hong Kong,
United States, and Canada who are 18 years of age
and over,
and Taiwan
who
are
20
years or older.
2.
The following are not eligible to enter the Competition: (i) employees and independent contractors of th
e Promoter and/or its
related party entities (i.e. parent companies and subsidiaries); (ii) immediate family members of such employees or
independent contractors. In these Terms and Conditions, “immediate family members” includes mother, father, brothers,
sisters, sons, daughters or spouse.
How to Enter
3.
This Competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
4.
To enter the Competition,
an eligible entrant
must
“like” the HotelClub Facebook page,
complete the required data entr
y f
ields
on the entry form and
submit a
digital
photo of
their current view (i.e. from their desk, their window, their building, etc) in
order to explain why their view needs an upgrade. The photo must be provided as a JPG or PNG image

An entry must not be l
ate, incomplete, incomprehensible, unlawful, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic,
harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, capable of encouraging conduct that would be considered a criminal offe
nce,
capable of violating an
y law and/or capable of giving rise to civil liability.

Promoter reserves the right to, at any time,
verify an entry or entrant and disqualify an entrant
if
the Promoter

Competition Period
7.
The Competition
commences
on August 19,

9am

and closes on

”) and only entries received by or on behalf of the Promoter during the Competition Period will be
accepted into the Competition.
Prize

8.
The first entry selected as a winner will win the Hong Kong Prize. The second entry selected as a wi
nner will win the Cook
Islands Prize (“Prizes”). The Prizes include:
(a)
The Hong Kong Prize:

Return Economy airfares, including all taxes, for the Winner and their travel companion from the Winner’s nearest
capital city, serviced by the airline selected by
the Promoter, to Hong Kong.

Airport/Hotel Transfers in Hong Kong.

in share accommodation in a Harbour View room, at the Marco Polo Hong Kon
g Hotel and 2 nights twin
share
accommodation in a newly renovated room at the Marco Polo Gateway Hotel.

9.
Luggage check
in and extra options (i.e. speedy boarding, etc) will be the cost and responsibility of each winner.
10.
Travel is on confirmed space and is subject to seat availability at time of
booking for airfares

are subject to
confirmation with the relevant airline or hotel.
11.
The winner and their chosen guest
MUST travel together
and share the same itinerary.
12.
It is the responsibility of the winner to arrange
and
confirm reservation dates for the accommodation component of their prize
with the relevant hotel upon receipt of their prize voucher.
13.
All other expenses including but not limited to
ground transportation to and from the departing and arrivals airport, add
itional
ground transport, all other transfers,
meals
and beverages
,
gratuities, applicable taxes, hotel
service charges, airport taxes,
surcharges
, travel and medical insurance, additional spending money, personal expenses, souvenirs, upgrades, incidentals
and
expenses not expressly specified herein are the sole
responsibility of the winner and their chosen guest.
14.
Winner must inform the Promoter at least thirty
(30)
days
(
prior to their preferred departure date to arrange airfares. Normal
terms and conditio
ns of carriage apply, no stop
over is permitted and there is a maximum stay of 3 months, subject to visa
restrictions. Airfare tickets are also not applicable on code share services with other operators and the prize winner is su
bject
to further charges s
hould this not be adhered too.
15.
It is the responsibility of the winner to provide correct names of all persons travelling for the booking arrangements as the
Promoter reserves the right to charge the winner AUD100 per guest and per change in addition to any
airfare tax or surcharges
that may increase related at the time of booking for any corrections that are required to any of the traveling documents due
to
misinformation provided by the prize winner or any change in itinerary made by the winner and/or thei
r guest.
16.
Travel documentation in the form of Gift Certificates, Vouchers & Air tickets provided to the winner and their chosen guest i
s to
be presented to reservationists for redemption. Failure to present the correct documentation by the winner and/or th
eir
chosen guest means that redemption will be at the discretion of the provider and the winner and/or their chosen guest may
forfeit or be charged extra costs for their prize.
17.
If the winner fails to
notify the Promoter or tour operator of a change at leas
t 48 hours prior to departure or no
show will
forfeit their prize.
18.
No responsibility is assumed by the Promoter for any cancelled, delayed, suspended or rescheduled events once any tickets
have been issued in relation to the prize for any reason whatsoever
beyond its control.
19.
The winner and their chosen guest will be responsible for ensuring travel insurance and travel papers, including passports an
d
visa and ,where necessary, for obtaining appropriate vaccinations and inoculations are in good order and are
valid prior
or
and
for the duration of the trip. The Promoter highly recommends that travelers take out adequate travel insurance
20.
The Prize, or any part thereof
,
must be accepted as awarded and is
non
negotiable, non
transferable
to another person
and
non
convertible to cash or credit. It is not possible to earn or redeem frequent flyer rewards on the Prize. The Prize
cannot be
used in conjunction with any other special offer.
All aspects of the Prize must be taken together as a package.
21.
The winner acknow
ledges that the Prize may be
subject to the terms and conditions of the operators of
the relevant
accommodation, air and leisure services.
The winner must acquaint themselves with these terms and conditions prior to taking
the Prize. The Promoter does not
accept any responsibility and is not liable for any additional conditions imposed on the taking
of the Prize, or for the breach of those terms and conditions by any person.
Winner Selection
22.
There will be two (2

entries registered in the application database
within 48 hours of
the end of the
Competition Period.
23.
The
winner

will be
selected
by Promoter
on the basis of
the
following criteria:
(a)
The
quality
and creativity of the
ir
photograph;
and
(b)
The extent to which th
e photograph
answers and
responds to the question of “why you could use an upgrade”
.
24.

he winner

will be notified by phone and by email and will be announced by HotelClub
on Facebook
.
The winner
s
will be
required to accept their Prize by
phone or email
wit
hin
7
days of notification
, otherwise
the winner will forfeit any and all claim
to the Prize awarded but not accepted

25.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel this Competition at any stage, if
deemed necessary in its reasonable opinion, or if
