Terms & Conditions

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. 2. Entry is only open to Blackwood Park residents living in the suburb of Craigburn Farm, Adelaide, South Australia (“Eligible Entrants”). 3. The Promoter is Chero 2 Pty Ltd (ABN: 77 008 995 668) of 83 Pirie Street Adelaide South Australia (“Promoter”). 4. The Promotion starts at 1 August 2013 and continues until 24 November 2013 (“Promotion Period”). 5. To enter and be eligible to win, Eligible Entrants must complete a Blackwood Park Garden Competition entry form which submits their front garden for judging. Entries must be received by the close of business on Friday 15 November 2013. 6. Entry is by way of completing an online entry form at www.blackwoodpark.com.au, posting a written entry form to Adelaide Development Company GPO Box 1348, Adelaide SA 5001, or lodging a written entry form in the entry box provided at the Blackwood Park Sales & Information Centre, Dawbiney Avenue, Craigburn Farm. 7. Gardens of current open, non-occupied display homes are not eligible for entry. 8. Gardens at the addresses of 2010 and 2011 first and second prize winners are ineligible to enter the 2013 competition. 9. 2010 and 2011 first and second prize winners are not eligible to enter the 2013 competition. 10. The judging panel will assess front garden entries (back gardens are not eligible) on criteria including garden aesthetics, water efficiency, working with nature and innovation. 11. Winners will be announced in The Advertiser Public Notices section on Monday 2 December 2013. 12. Winners will be notified by mail within 30 days of the closing date. If the winner does not reply to the mail within 30 days, the Promoter reserves the right to re-offer the prize in any future promotion. 13. First prize consists of a two night stay for two people at luxury Barossa accommodation The Louise including a gourmet appellation dinner valued at up to $1,400. Second prize is a SA Tourism Holiday voucher to the value of $500. 14. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter. 15. By entering this promotion, eligible entrants agree that the Promoter and/or its agents may take photographs of the entrant and their front garden during their participation in the competition and any photo shoot relating to the competition. Entrants consent to the Promoter and its affiliates, agents and contractors using, reproducing, publishing and displaying the entrant’s name and submitted photos in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of administering and promoting this promotion. 16. Incomplete and incomprehensible entries are not eligible to win. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for misdirected, lost or delayed entries and entries not received for any reason during the Promotion Period, or for any technical difficulties with entry. 17. Any entrant who, in the opinion of the Promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry process in any way, or who does not properly comply with the entry process, will be ineligible to win. 18. The first prize of the trip to The Louise must be taken as stated on the prize voucher provided. The second prize of a $500 SA Tourism Holiday voucher must be redeemed within 12 months of receipt. The prize is not divisible or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed in part or full for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to supply an alternative prize of similar monetary value. The judge’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. 19. The Promoter will not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury which results directly or indirectly from the competition, except that which cannot be excluded by law. 20. The Promoter reserves the right to modify these rules, suspend or discontinue this competition at any time. 21. These rules are governed by the laws of the State of South Australia. 22. A failure by the promoter to enforce any one of these terms and conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any other person or entrant.
