HOW TO ENTER

Entrants can enter two ways; 1) enter in store by making a purchase then completing a 'WIN a BIKE, welcome to shine' entry form and providing their email address or, 2) enter online by making a purchase at shinebeauty.com and providing their email address as part of the shine online purchasing process. Each person is eligible for one entry only into this promotion ("Entry").

Valid Entries will go into the draw to win the randomly selected 'WIN a BIKE' prize as pictured (This is specifically $1,000 retail value worth bike and associated bike products, vouchers, merchandise in a gift hamper from Finn & Dash Bikes, Cotton Tree). Total Prize pool is valued at $1,000.

To apply as a valid Entry, Entrants must have made one purchase in store or online between Wednesday 1st January 2014 and 11:59pm AEST Friday 28th of February 2014 inclusive ("Competition Period")

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1) Instructions on How to Enter form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Competition not valid in conjunction with any other Shine Beauty offer.

2) To be eligible to enter the 'WIN a BIKE' giveaway' competition, entrants must make a purchase from Shine Beauty online at shinebeauty.com or in a Shine Beauty store during the Competition Period. The purchase must be paid in full before the end of the Competition Period.

3) To be eligible to enter, a functioning email address must be supplied. The Promoter will not accept liability for claims arising from missing or invalid email addresses.

4) Competition only open to Australian permanent residents aged 18 years or over. Competition is only valid at participating Shine Beauty stores and at shinebeauty.com.

5) Employees of any Shine Beauty store (and their immediate families) and agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

6) The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Entries and Entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any Entrant who submits an Entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the Entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

7) Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible Entries will be deemed invalid.

Multiple Entries are permitted, provided a separate purchase is made on a separate date and a separate compliant Entry is received. (Additional entries can only occur on additional dates where a compliant purchase has been made and Entry received. Thus there may be more than one Entry per name and email allowed.

9) Entrants must retain their original Shine Beauty purchase tax invoice(s) and/or receipt(s) for their Entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all Entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of Entry and forfeiture of any right to winning the 'Shine Beauty WIN a BIKE giveaway' prize hamper. The Shine Beauty purchase tax invoice(s) and/or receipt(s) must clearly specify the date, an amount in dollars that was purchased, store of purchase where the purchase was made and the Shine Beauty purchase tax invoice(s) and/or receipt(s) must match the date of entry, during the Competition period.

10) If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the Entrant will be deemed to be the person in whose name the purchase tax invoice was issued provided the person is an Australian resident of at least 18 years of age.

11) The Competition commences the 01/01/14 and finishes 11:59pm AEST 28/02/14.

12) All Entries must be received by 11:59pm AEST on Friday 28th February 2014.

13) One electronic draw will take place on Wednesday 5th March (being 5 days after last claims are accepted) at the Shine Beauty Chermside store Management meeting at 11am. The Winner will be notified by email and receive their 'WIN a BIKE giveaway' prize hamper at the Shine salon, time and day of their choosing within 7 days of notification being received. The prize winner's first names and suburb will be available on Shine Beauty website from Wednesday 12th March 2014 (7 days after the draw).

14) The winner will be notified by email. If no response is received the winner will be contacted via phone, if phone contact entry details have been provided. If the winner is note contactable and does not respond or claim their prize within 7 days of being contacted by email. Failure to claim prize within this period will result in winner forfeiting their prize. Then a second draw will be held and a substitute winner will be draw. In this instance a redraw will take place on Wednesday 12th December at Shine Beauty Maroochydore at 11am. Redraw Winner will be then notified by email. The redraw winner first name and suburb will be published on Shine beauty website shinebeauty.com in this event. If the redraw winner is note contactable and does not respond or claim their prize within 7 days of being contacted by email. Failure to claim prize within this period will result in the redraw winner forfeiting their prize.

15) If the number of Entries for the draw fails to reach the number of prizes for the draw, the unused portion of the draw will be forfeited. Prizes must be claimed within 7 days of notification.

16) The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

17) The WIN a BIKE giveaway hamper cannot be replaced. If the WIN a BIKE giveaway hamper is defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen, it will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed. The WIN a BIKE giveaway hamper is not redeemable for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to change any terms contained in these Terms of Use at any time. Changes to Terms of Use will be available in store.

19) If the WIN a BIKE giveaway hamper is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the WIN a BIKE giveaway hamper with an offer to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

20) The WIN a BIKE giveaway hamper, or any unused portion of the WIN a BIKE giveaway hamper, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

21) If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition, as appropriate.

22) Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the Entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated software or any other mechanical or means that allows an Entrant to automatically Enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all Entries submitted by that Entrant invalid.

23) Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any Entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by an Entrant; or (e) use of the WIN a BIKE giveaway Hamper.

24) The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, offer suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities; the Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter.

25) All Entries become the property of the Promoter.
