Thanks to the organisers of the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle and National 4x4 Outdoors Show, Big Rigs has 10 double passes to give away for the event.

The passes are valid for one day only, however you could use one ticket one day and then go the next with the other if you won.

The 2014 Show will be held at the Brisbane Showgrounds from April 4-6 and once again be the ultimate off-road, touring, towing, fishing and boating exhibition – with only a handful of exhibitor spaces remaining!

This year’s event has more than 20,000 square metres dedicated to everything outdoor related, with over 200 exhibitors showing off their latest wares, with hundred-of-thousands of products on display and masses of show specials.

In a massive coup, the ultimate Wildlife Warriors - the Irwin family, Terri, Bindi and Robert have been confirmed as special guests appearing on The Waeco Outback Stage presented by 4WD Touring, sharing stories of their adventures, and answering questions from eager and interested fans.

Also appearing onstage in his first appearance at the National 4x4 & Outdoors Show, will be Chris ‘Brolga’ Barns, Kangaroo Dundee himself who will be sharing stories and information on his efforts to save one half of our national coat of arms.

The WAECO Outback Stage, hosted by Carlisle Rogers of 4WD Touring, will also host a series of information and meet-and-greet sessions with some of the 4WD and outdoor industry’s biggest names, including Pat Callinan, Jase Andrews, Peter ‘Spida’ Everitt and Allan Gray.

Whilst over the Tinnie and Tackle Show, Paul Worsteling, renowned angler and host of television’s iFish program will once again be a Special Guest, appearing across all three days of the Show to host talks and conduct workshops.

The Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show presented by Club Marine, Australia’s largest provider of pleasure craft insurance, will again feature magazine chef Bart Beek conducting cooking demonstrations - a standing-room only feature of the 2013 Show!

The hugely popular Fishing Expo Stage, Yamaha Supertank and Kids Marine Zone will also return.

These various interactive displays will have a continuous rotation of guest speakers and live demonstrations, covering a wide range of products, fishing techniques with plenty of giveaways with something for fishing enthusiasts of all ages and capabilities.

At the National 4x4 & Outdoors Show some of the best known names in the industry will exhibit from categories including 4WD Vehicles and Accessories, ATV’s and dirt bikes, automotive accessories, safety and recovery gear, GPS and electronics, kayaks, camping equipment, tents and a vast array of camper trailers and off-road caravans.

This year’s Action Arena will be presented and hosted by Isuzu Ute with the Isuzu Team D-Max giving visitors the chance to take a two-wheel ride with them and experience the world from a different angle, or perhaps be a passenger when they tackle the 450 degree incline of the Iron Summit.

Extra action on the Arena will include displays from 4x4 stunt cars, ATVs, demonstrations and test drives, all of which can be viewed from the comfort of the XXXX Retreat, in between shows from the famous XXXX Angels!

Tickets for the 2014 Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show and National 4x4 & Outdoors Show are priced at $18 for adults, $12 for seniors, with children under 15 free. A two day adult pass is also available for $25.

Ticketholders will also enjoy a free train loop to the show, with a service running via Central, Roma Street, Fortitude Valley and the Exhibition Grounds Stations across all three days of the show.

Conditions of entry: Big Rigs “Tinny and Tackle Show Competition”.


 


1. Method of entry:  Contestants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.  To enter, Contestants must enter online at www.bigrigs.com.au competitions page and must fill out your name, full postal address and daytime telephone number.

Contestants may not submit more than one entry, and there is only one prize available.


2. Prizes:  Two passes to the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle and National 4x4 Outdoors Show valid for one day of the show from April4-6, valued at $36 is available to be won.  Total maximum value of all prizes:$360.  All prizes are valued inclusive of GST and the Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in item values.  Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of a winner receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of that winner.  Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.  If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter may substitute a prize of similar nature and/or like or greater value.


3. Competition duration:  The competition commences at 4pm on March 5 and closes at 5pm on March 20 (“Closure Time”). Entries received after the Closure Time will not be eligible.


4 Eligibility limitations:  Contestants under the age of 18 require parent/guardian permission to enter.  The following persons are ineligible to enter:


(i) employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter so far as they are directly associated with this competition;


(ii) the spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), of such employees and contractors (whether or not they live in the same household);


iii) Contestants who have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win any contest run by the Promoter except in the case of a legal change of name.


All Contestants acknowledge that even if the Promoter only learns of a person’s ineligibility after the Promoter has appeared to award the prize to the ineligible person, it may require the return of the prize or payment of its value to the Promoter to be dealt with as an unclaimed prize.


5. Draw and notification:  The prize winner(s) will be selected by random draw at 10am on March 21  and prizes awarded following winner validation and verification.  Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.  Winner’s details will be published in Big Rigs on March 28.  All Contestants acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to publicise and publish his / her name, character and likeness.  All contest winners must avail themselves for a photo if required by the Promoter and acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to utilise publicity photos in any reasonable manner it sees fit without compensation to the Contestant.


6. Prize collection:  Prizes must be claimed in person unless winner is otherwise advised and ID that includes a photograph may be required.  Upon request by the Promoter a copy of the general contest rules and/or a signed receipt and acknowledgement must be signed and endorsed by any winner to indicate his/her understanding and acceptance of these terms.  All prizes when specified must be picked up within 90 days of notification.  It is the sole responsibility of the winner to claim their prize.  All prizes that remain unclaimed 90 days after notification has been sent to the winner will be redrawn by random draw in an unclaimed prize draw.


7. Promoter's limitation of liability:  The Promoter is not responsible for the loss of prizes due to incorrect or imprecise delivery details provided by a winner.  The Promoter also takes no responsibility for prizes lost or stolen after they have been released for delivery via postage or courier.  The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability/merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as prizes.  To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained by any person and including, but not limited to consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to the prize winner(s) and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the winners.


8. Entries and privacy:   All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter subject to the limits contained in the Privacy Statement and as set out in these terms and conditions.
