1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entries not completed in accordance with the Conditions of Entry or received after close of entry will not be considered. Incomplete or inaudible entries will be disregarded. The judge’s decision in relation to any aspect of the promotion is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
2. The promotion is open to people who are residents of Australia who are 18 years and over, except for employees of the Promoter, Salmat Digital Pty Ltd and their immediate families, and all companies and agencies associated with this promotion.
3. The promotion commences on Saturday 22 March 2014 at 17:30 AEDST and concludes on Monday, 24 March 2014 at 23:59 AEDST. The draw will take place at Salmat Digital Pty Ltd, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney, 2060 on Tuesday, 25 March 2014 at 10:00 AEDST. The winners will be notified by mail using contact details provided in their entry and their name will be published in the public notices section of The Australian on Thursday, 27 March 2014.
4. There are two ways of entering the promotion:

5. Multiple competition entries are permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per SMS message or 190 call; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with the entry requirements.

9. Taking the prize is subject to any prevailing terms and conditions of Princess Cruises. Upon winner notification please see brochure for details.
10. The winner (and their companion) are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
11. Transport to and from Departure point including but not limited to additional Domestic airfares if required, any additional meals, any extra sightseeing or activities, any additional accommodation, personal spending money, and all other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner and their travel companions. Prize also excludes medical expenses, items of a personal nature, beverages, optional tours not outlined, laundry, telephone calls, additional nights, room upgrades or other ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize other than those specified. These costs and expenses are the responsibility of the winner. Any extension to the duration of the prize is at the winner’s sole expense and subject to availability at the time of booking. For the removal of doubt, taxes for international travel and port charges are included in the prize provided by the Promoter.
12. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be requested to present their credit card at check in, to cover all incidentals they may incur onboard.
13. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses (including travel to and from the departure point) become the responsibility of the winner.
14. The prize (or any part thereof) cannot be sold, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken for cash. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.
15. Prizes are not transferable to another cruise or transferrable to another person without prior written approval from an authorised Holidays of Australia representative. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. Prizes cannot be transferred or substituted and cannot be combined with other promotional offers.
16. The winner (and their companions) are responsible for all other expenses including on board expenditure (including without limitation): any additional meals at specialty restaurants, beverages, extra entertainment, shore tours, The Sanctuary, Beauty Salon, Lotus Spa, Casino, Boutiques, facilities fees or service charges, Laundry charges, Gratuities, travel insurance and all other ancillary cost; any airfares, pre and post cruise accommodation which are the responsibility of the prize winner and guests. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
17. All other Princess Cruises booking and passage conditions apply to prizes and are detailed in the Princess Cruises 2014-2015 Cruising from Australia brochure, Issued July 2013, which passengers will be bound by.
18. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner (and their companions) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by Princess Cruises, GSR and Holidays of Australia.
19. Prize values mentioned in competitions are at the recommended retail value as provided by Princess Cruises, GSR and Holidays of Australia and are correct at time of publishing. Princess Cruises, GSR and Holidays of Australia are neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of a prize.
20. Adequate travel insurance for the duration of the trip must be organised by the winner at his/her own expense. Meals or tips, transfer fees (other than specified), excess baggage and any other personal expenses not specified in the prize package must be paid for by the winner.
21. If the prize or portion of the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
22. The Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit. The Promoter is not responsible for any flight schedule changes or cancellation of flights. Frequent flyer points are not available from any airline
23. All prizes must be taken as offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offer. The prize is valued in Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their prize. In the event that a portion of the prize is awarded to the winner in the form of a voucher / ticket / pass, redemption of that portion of the prize will be subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the voucher / ticket / pass. The Promoter will not be liable for any voucher / ticket / pass that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.
24. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner (and any traveling companions) must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements. Winner will be required to sign a liability waiver form to accept the prize.
25. By entering the competition via SMS an entrant consents to the Promoter using the their personal details for the purposes of sending one (1) mobile terminated (MT) reply message which includes a confirmation of their entry in the competition.
26. Prize winners will be notified within 2 days of the end of the prize draw by telephone, and will also be notified in writing and publishes in the Australian Thursday 27th March 2014.
27. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including but not limited to natural disaster) the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
28. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
29. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner consents to the Promoter or its agents using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including any recording, photograph and film of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion and/or the Promoter. winner will be notified in writing and their name will be published in The Australian on Thursday, 10 July 2014.
38. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the phone user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
39. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by the various Lottery Departments, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
40. All entries and other information provided in the course of this competition become the property of the Promoter and the Sponsor. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information in connection with this promotion are governed by the Promoter’s Privacy Notice available from Channel 9 and these Conditions of Entry. The Promoter may use information it collects in relation to you to provide you with information regarding further offers, promotions or goods and services provided by the Promoter and/or the Promoter’s partners and sponsors. The Promoter may also disclose information about you to its service providers to enable the Promoter to provide you with services. Your personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
