The Promoter of this prize draw is Sony Digital Reading Services S.a r.l., registered with the Companies Registrar of Luxembourg under n° B 162039, with a registered office at 10, avenue de la Liberté, L-1930 Luxembourg, Grand-Duché de Luxembourg (the “Promoter”).

By entering the contest each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions and Reader Store terms of use and privacy policy.

PROMOTION PERIOD.

The promotion begins 28th of February 2014 and ends 24:00 PM CET 30th April 2014.

The Promoter reserves the right to shorten, extend, postpone or modify the promotion period or even to terminate the promotion at such time and to the extent to which such is necessary for organisational, technical or legal reasons.

ELIGIBILITY.

This prize draw is open to Australia residents aged 18 years or over. The Promoter reserves the right to request a written justification of such authorization, at any time during the promotion period, in order to proceed to the necessary verifications.

Employees and families of Sony Digital Reading Services S.a r.l., and of related suppliers, tour agents, advertising, promotion and production agencies are not eligible to participate in the prize drawing.

Only one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize. No purchase necessary to enter the prize draw. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid.

HOW TO ENTER

The competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners.

To enter, entrants must visit au.readerstore.sony.com/winayearofreading, complete the online form with entrant’s name and email address and tell us, in 50 words or less, What is the best book you have read in the past year and why you loved it.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION.

Each valid entrant who has entered the competition over the duration of the Promotional Period will be entered into the prize determination. One (1) valid entrant will be judged based on originality and creative merit by a panel of judges from Reader Store, to become the winner. The winners will be notified via email by 31th May 2014. The winner must claim their prize within 10 working days. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.

Prizes are not transferable and no substitutions or cash equivalents are permitted.

The Reader Store vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be resold or otherwise exchanged. They will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or otherwise used without your permission. By entering this prize draw, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this prize draw and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.

Unless expressly refused, the entrant concedes the Promoter the authorisation to communicate his first name, last name and city of residence on any possible support for promotional purposes and without any financial compensation other than the won prize.

SEVERABILITY

MISCELLANEOUS

Complaints referring to the execution of this prize draw shall be addressed to the Promoter in writing within a maximum of 14 days after the end of the promotion period. Complaints communicated via telephone or received at a later time will not be processed.

APPLICABLE LAWS AND JURISDICTION

This prize draw and the present terms and conditions shall be governed, interpreted and performed by the provisions of Australian law.

Any dispute between the Promoter and an entrant shall fall within the competence of the courts of Australia.
