MARVIN GAYE MUSICAL - LET'S GET IT ON
 

April 1 2014 was the 30th anniversary of the death of soul legend Marvin Gaye.

‘Let’s Get It On’ celebrates the life and music of the multi-talented musician.

From Room8 producers of ‘The Man In Black – The Johnny Cash Story’ and ‘At Last – The Etta James Story’, this two-hour narrative concert explores Marvin’s humble beginnings and his troubled relationship with his father.

The show features hits including ‘I Heard It Through The Grapevine’, ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’, his stunning spiritual masterwork ‘What’s Going On’,  ‘Sexual Healing’ and more.  Starring Helpmann Award winning singer Bert LaBonté, the sensational Funk City Band and introducing Jude Perl, ‘Let’s Get It On – will have you Dancing In The Street!’

RACV members have the chance to win one of 10 double tickets to the preview performance on Tuesday, 13 May 2014 at 6.30pm at the Athenaeum Theatre, Collins St, Melbourne.

Competition closes 11.59pm Monday 5 May 2014 and is drawn 9.30am on Tuesday 6 May 2014.

Let's Get It On
1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of the conditions of entry.

2. Any RACV member who completes an online entry form from royalauto.com.au during the Promotion Period will be entered in the draw. Competition commences 23 April 2014 and closes 11:59pm 5 May (the Promotion Period).

3. Competition entry is restricted to one entry per person. Additional entries will result in entrant being disqualified from the competition.

4. This competition is won by chance and entrants are not judged on the quality of their entry.

5. All employees of the promoter or its related bodies corporate and the immediate families of such employees are ineligible to enter. The competition is restricted to residents of the State of Victoria.

6. Any eligible RACV member can enter the competition once only.

7. The draw will take place at 9.30am on Tuesday, 6 May at 550 Princes Hwy, Noble Park North, Victoria.

8. Ten double tickets to ‘Let’s Get It On’, ($98) the musical which celebrates the life and music of soul legend Marvin Gaye to be held on Tuesday, 13 May at 6.30pm at the Athenaeum Theatre.

9. The first 10 valid entries drawn will win a prize.

10. Valid for Tuesday 13 May 6.30pm performance at the Athenaeum Theatre, Collins St, Melbourne. Total prize value is $980.

11. The winners will be notified by email and/or telephone, and the winners’ details will be published on royalauto.com.au from 7 May.

12. Each prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or taken as cash.

13. The promoter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. The promoter is RACV Sales & Marketing Pty Ltd ABN 11 005 258 702, 550 Princes Highway, Noble Park North, Victoria 3174.

15. The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw if necessary on 9 May 2014 at 11am in order to distribute any prize if unclaimed by that date.

16. RACV may substitute or change the supplier of the prize or substitute prizes with cheques to the cash value of prizes at its absolute discretion.

17. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate. The promoter is not liable for any loss or damage, personal injury or death relating to acceptance and use of prizes by winners.

18. The personal information submitted in an entry is collected by the Promoter and will be used for the purpose of conducting the promotion. Personal information supplied by entrants may be provided to related bodies corporate or agencies of the Promoter and third parties involved in promoting or conducting the promotion for the purposes of conducting the promotion and future marketing and publicity communications.
