WHO CAN ENTER:

1.1 The Competition is open to all residents of Queensland, but employees of Channel Seven or their relatives are not eligible to enter.
1.2 Entrants must be 18 years or older. (18+)
1.3 Employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Limited and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
2 HOW TO ENTER
2.1 7 NEWS Viewers are invited to decorate their house, workplace or car in support of the Qld Maroons.
2.2 To enter, viewers will be required to visit www.yahoo7.com.au/Queensland to submit a photo or video of their decorated house, workplace or car along with details including name, address, email and phone number.
2.3 Entrants may only enter once.
2.4 The competition opens at 6pm (Brisbane time) on Tuesday 27th May, 2014. The competition officially closes at 5pm (Brisbane time) on Friday 4th July, 2014 (“Competition Period”). The winner will be contacted on Saturday 5th July.
2.5 All decisions are at the absolute discretion of the Promoter and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard

2.7 There will be one prize in total. This is subjected to change by the promoter.
3 PRIZE
3.1 There will be one winner who will win one Framed Qld State of Origin 100th game jersey, signed by the Maroons team.
3.2 The prize cannot be redeemed for cash and is not exchangeable.
3.3 The minimum value of the prize is six hundred and fifty-four dollars ($654.00)
3.4 Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
3.5 In accepting the prize the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed. The winner grants the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use. The winner agrees they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
3.6 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements.
3.7 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must be available on Monday 7th July for prize redemption and the filming of a 7 NEWS story to appear in a 7 News segment. If the winner cannot appear in the 7 News segment, they will forfeit the prize and the prize will be awarded to the runner up.
3.8 It is also a condition of accepting the prize that the winner (and any companions) may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
4 HOWTOWIN
4.1 The winner will be judged from the pool of valid entries received within the Competition Period. The winner will be the best valid entry as judged by the judging panel, having regard to skill, creativity and originality of their entry at the Promoter’s premises on 04/07/14. The Promoter may select additional entries to be used as replacements in the event that the first entrant chosen as a winner cannot satisfy these Terms and Conditions or take a prize.
4.2 This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner
4.3 The winner will be contacted by email or phone call as soon as the winner has been judged. If the prize is not redeemed, the prize will be forfeited and a runner up will be selected.

4.5 The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequently to a winner being notified or a winner’s name being announced if it is discovered that the winner did not enter the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions. In these circumstances, a runner up will be selected..
5 NO LIABILITY
5.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders Channel Seven Brisbane’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to state government legislation.
5.2 Channel Seven Brisbane and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
5.3 Channel Seven Brisbane and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
5.3.1 during the competition;
5.3.2 in the participation or use of any element(s) of the prize;
5.3.3 as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
5.3.4 due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
5.3.5 in relation to failure of an SMS entry message to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion; or
5.3.6 arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
5.4 Channel Seven Brisbane assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interr upti on, de leti on, de fec t, del ay in op erati on or tr ans m is s ion, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to state government legislation.
5.5 If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
6 PRIVACY
6.1 Any personal details or information submitted in order to enter the Competition is being provided to Channel Seven Brisbane. Entry details remain the property of Channel Seven Brisbane. Entrant's personal information will only be used for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Competition (including but not limited to determining and notifying the winner).
