Our love affair with Shelley Panton has been well-documented; you can see it in our conversation with her back in 2012, our collaboration with her last year, and don’t forget our upcoming pottery workshop (there are still a few tickets up for grabs!).

So, when we saw the note below in our inbox, it took, oh, a whole second for us to type our reply.

To be held in Shelley’s Prahran store, the workshop is for makers and small business owners, looking for advice and practical information about how to launch their product to the retail market.

“With five years experience of operating my Middle Park and Prahran stores I receive many submissions each week from makers and small business wanting to get their wares on my store shelves. I am often amazed at how many new businesses don’t do their costing correctly, present their information in an unclear manner, or simply turn up in-store without an appointment. I’m passionate about supporting small local businesses, I would love to see more up starts get their own businesses off the ground.”
