The Magic Flute At Riverside Theatres - Opera Australia



The rollicking adventure of The Magic Flute, set in 1930s Egypt, is heading to Riverside Theatres as Opera Australia presents their new touring production, complete with fabulous costumes, chamber orchestra and a vibrant cast of singers.

Taking inspiration from the Indiana Jones series, The Magic Flute is an enchanting new production of Mozart's final work that will delight the whole family (suitable for children aged 8+). Audiences can expect mummies, hieroglyphic puzzles and a good few laughs along the way.

Directed by AFI and Sydney Theatre Critic’s Choice Award recipient Michael Gow (Away and Toy Symphony) and designed by Robert Kemp, The Magic Flute is a mysterious and wonderful tale set to take place at Riverside Theatres as part of a 26-stop national tour.
