Poetry to 40 lines, open theme
First prize: $1000 AUD
Winner announced in November 2014

COMPETITION GUIDELINES
• Competition is open to anyone over the age of 18 years, including overseas applicants
• Entries must be the original work of the applicant
• Entries must not have been published, broadcast, or won a prize in any competition
• Entry fee is AUD$20 per poem
• There is no limit to the number of entries you may submit
• All entries to be in English, double-spaced and using a standard 12 pt font such as Times
New Roman or Arial
• Applicant’s name must not appear on the poem
• Fees will not be refunded
• Do not send originals as submissions will not be returned
• Each entry must be accompanied by a Martha Richardson Entry Form
• No corrections will be accepted or correspondence entered into
• Copyright remains with the author
• The judge’s decision is final
• Winner announced in November 2014
• Entries may be submitted via email OR in hard copy
