erms and Conditions - Celebrity Cruise Competition

    Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. Entry is via completing the entry form on the Cruise Express Celebrity Cruise Competition pages (www.cruiseexpress.com.au/wagga-rules, www.cruiseexpress.com.au/wagg-commercial, www.cruiseexpress.com.au/wagga-rsl
    Entry is open to financial members of each of the participating clubs only. Entry conditions will include the provision of the participants membership number.
    Entry is made via the purchase of goods or services to the value of $10 at any of the participating clubs or via the purchase of participating Learning Links 'housie' game cards.
    Once a purchase is made a unique identifier entry ticket will be provided by club staff. Entry can then be made by visiting the Cruise Express website and completing an online entry form.
    The promotion commences 1st August 2014 at 9am (AEST, Australian Eastern Standard Time) and closes 30 September 2014 at 11.59pm (AEST, Australian Eastern Standard Time).
    Entrants may enter the competition multiple times if they comply with the entry requirements each time.
    The winner will be chosen randomly (a game of chance) by the club management and Promoter in each club on specific dates & times following the conclusion of the promotion and an independent scrutineer will observe this process in each case. The specific draw dates will be as follows:
    Rules Club - 3rd October, 2014
    Commercial Club - 4th October, 2014
    RSL Club - 10th October, 2014
    All draws will commence after 7pm
    It is a condition of entry that the winner must be present in the club when the draw takes place to be deemed the winner. If the prize is not claimed within 4 minutes a re-draw will take place.
    Once announced and it is deemed the winner has met the desired entry criteria their name and entry will be published by the clubs and via our social networks (e.g. on the Promoter’s website for 28 days and newsletters).
    There will be one one (1) one Major Winner of the competition in each club.
    The Major Prize is a cruise on Celebrity Century from Sydney commencing on the 8th November, 2014 valued at $AUD3374. No alternative cruise is available.
    One prize will be awarded to a member of the club based on the agreed entry criteria.
    Additional prizes of 5 Cruise Express gift cards per club valued at $200 per card are offered as consolation prizes and will also be drawn on the day.
    The total prize pool is therefore valued at $AUD4,374 per club.
    The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
    The prize winner may at their discretion transfer the prize (s) to friends or family. Any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
    Prize winner or nominated person must use cruise specified otherwise it will be deemed to be forfeited by the winner.
    Entrants can only enter in their own name. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of residency at the stated address and identification for verification (to the Promoter's satisfaction in its discretion) before issuing the prize. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter's decision to disqualify an entry is final and no correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries.
    The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability, which cannot be excluded by law. It is recommended that the winner organises travel insurance for this holiday.
    If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions under applicable legislation. The Promoter also reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
    The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this promotion.
    All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects contact information about entrants in order to contact them about the promotion and where appropriate award prizes and may also use the information to assist the Promoter in improving goods and services and to contact entrants in the future with special offers via any medium including mail and commercial electronic messages. If you do not provide the information, you cannot participate.
    The laws of Australia apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
