Win Tickets To See Seekae At The Gov

Sydney/London three-piece Seekae have, over the past six years, won a hugely loyal following around the world for their signature blend of electronic music. And it’s with great pleasure that The Gov will play host to them, as well as the incredibly talented Jonti on Friday, 15 August.

From pop to post-dubstep, IDM to post-rock, house and ambient music; Seekae have traversed the full gamut of electronic possibilities and consistently been heralded for their efforts. Their stunning debut The Sounds of Trees Falling On People was anointed one of the albums of the decade by FBi Radio; assured follow-up +Dome achieved Mojo Magazine’s Album of the Month in the UK and saw SEEKAE nominated for four Australian Independent Music Awards. The band then took +Dome on the road, touring Europe, Japan and North America, culminating in a sold-out Sydney Opera House show with an 8 piece-orchestra.

The band have emerged after two years in the studio armed with ‘The Worry’, their most ambitious and intimate work yet. The LP, available for pre-order from June 13, sees percussionist Alex Cameron step up to vocal duties for the first time, exploring themes of nihilism, revenge, and – occasionally – the redemptive power of love.

We've got two double passes to up for grabs to Seekae's gig at The Gov on Friday August 15 so enter your details for your chance to win. Competition closes at midday on Wednesday August 13.
