Review from Gloria Marr - Roadshow Entertainment

Above we have British Generals at War, a box set. Not the right image for this above though. Also it is series 1 and 2 of the very well received The Time of Our Lives. Time of our Lives. Review by Gloria Marr Having enjoyed the first series of this Australian Drama series I was looking forward to seeing the second series. The first episode starts with a nasty accident  to a family member, that has all the siblings gathering around to decide on their future roles of coping with one family member incapacitated. I started to feel a bit disappointed, as the first episode was very slow  with long pauses in between the spoken words and long looks at each other where nothing is said. The pace picks up a bit as  the actors adjust to their roles, take on their characters and the story lines develop. Various crisis  arise in the family, that will make for compelling viewing. Although a lot of loose ends in the story are  finally tied up  by the end of the eight episodes, it leaves us wondering if another series will eventuate. Available on DVD  20th August.
Go for it, give it a tweet!
