Enter our photo and video competition

To enter the 26TEN photo and video competition take a photo or make a video 26 seconds or less that tells us something about literacy and numeracy. Remember to relate it to our birthday theme Read it. Write it. Make it count! and use the 26TEN logo.

Get your entry in by 15 October 2014.

Some ideas to start with

    show how we use numbers and letters in every day life e.g. recipes, shopping, parking meters, bus timetables
    make jewellery using the logo, wear it and take a photo
    create an artwork incorporating numbers and letters and the 26TEN logo.
    make a collage of related literacy and numeracy images
    make a video of teaching your pet to count.

HOW TO ENTER
• Fill in the entry form on the back of this page. Entry forms are also available at the counter of your local LINC or to download from our website www.26ten.tas.gov.au
• Send or upload your photo or video AND the entry form to one of the following:
o the 26TEN Facebook page www.facebook.com/26TENTasmania
o email email@26Ten.tas.gov.au
o put it on a USB key and drop in to any LINC or
o mail it on a USB key to:

JUDGING AND PRIZES
There are two categories:
• Judges’ Award announced Monday 27 October
• People’s Choice Award announced Friday 31 October
Ipads will be awarded in each category to the still photo and the video that best represent our theme. There will also be book vouchers for finalists in each category.
The judges will select the overall winner and the finalists for the People’s Choice Award. The public will be able to LIKE their favourite finalist on the 26TEN Facebook page, with the winner being the video and photo with the most likes.
