1) Information on how to enter and prize details form part of the conditions of entry. 2) All employees of the promoter and its related bodies corporate are ineligible to enter. 3) The competition commences on 01 October 2014 and finishes on 30 November 2014. 4) Eligibility criterion applies; Entrants must have paid in full for their battery. 5) The competition consists of 1 major cash prize of $1,000, to be transferred to 1 winner; and 10 minor cash prizes to the value of the cost of the winner’s battery, to be transferred to 10 winners. 6) All prize values are in Australian dollars. 7) The major prize winner will receive: $1,000 transferred to them by either ETF or cheque. The minor prize winners will receive: A reimbursement of the total cost of their battery by either ETF or cheque. 9) Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. 10) Commercial clients are not eligible. 11) To enter the major prize draw, battery purchasers must enter their receipts and contact details online. All battery purchasers automatically go into the draw for the minor prize. The major prize entry form is only available online at raa.com.au/batterycash, which is accessible via the direct URL or via the RAA competitions page. 12) The winner will be drawn through a random electronic process. 13) The draw will take place at the RAA, 101 Richmond Rd, Mile End at 10am Friday 12 December 2014. The first entry drawn that fulfils the competition entry criteria will win the major prize. The following 10 entries drawn that fulfil the competition entry criteria will win the minor prizes. 14) The winners must be a current full financial member at the time of the draw. 15) The winners will be notified by phone within 14 days of the draw date with the winner’s name published on raa.com.au in December 2014. 16) The prize is non-transferable. 17) The winner has 28 days to claim the prize. 18) If the prize is unclaimed, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted on 07 January 2015. 19) The promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. 20) To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for: a) inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information; b) purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, sent with insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions; c) any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software; d) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; e) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition; f) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition; g) any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or h) any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition. 21) The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 22) The promoter is the Royal Automobile Association of SA Inc. 101 Richmond Road, Mile End, SA, 5031.
