Terms & Conditions
By submitting an entry, all entrants are deemed to have accepted the following terms and conditions:
 
1. Entry to the promotion is reserved to participants 18 years of age and older only.
 
2. To enter, entrants must fill out the entry form on www.QueenslandHolidays.com.au during the
specified competition time period. Only one entry per person is permitted.
 
3. The Promotion opens on 10 November 2014 (9.00am AEST) and closes on 24 November 2014
(3.00pm AEST).
 
4. Each entrant will be entered into a draw for a Prize consisting of one (1) $10,000AUD Flight
Centre Travel voucher to be used for travel only within Queensland and two (2) Qantas return
international economy class airfares (see additional terms and conditions below).

5. Two (2) return economy Qantas Flights details:
 
a. Qantas flights will be arranged by a representative of Tourism and Events Queensland.
b. Return international economy class airfares from the winner’s nearest Qantas Airways
operated port to any Qantas Airways (including QantasLink) operated airport in
Queensland (applicable Qantas Network markets include:
http://www.qantas.com.au/travel/airlines/route-maps/global/en)
c. Travel included in the prize will be restricted to Qantas and QantasLink operated aircraft. Travel to
and from the nearest Qantas Airways destination port on any other carriers is not included and
must be paid for separately by the winner.
d. Airfare must be booked and ticketed prior to June 30, 2015.
e. The prize must be taken over one continuous period. Seasonal and/or peak “black-out”
periods may apply depending on the time of travel and accommodation or activities
chosen. Travel on Qantas Flights is subject to the Qantas Conditions of Carriage.
f. The prize includes GST and taxes included in the price of the ticket. Unless otherwise
stated, the prize does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, meals, taxes not
included in the price of the ticket, ground transportation, flights, accommodation or any
other costs of a personal nature. Compliance with any health or other government
requirements is the responsibility of the prize-winner and companion. Qantas makes no
representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any
destination. Prize travel is subject to Qantas’ General Conditions of Carriage.
g. Prize travel and accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking. The
winners and their companions must travel together on all prize travel and will not accrue
Qantas Points on any element of the prize. An upgrade cannot be purchased on airfares
with cash or Qantas Points.
h. Any costs relating to alterations to confirmed details, where applicable, will be at the
expense of the winner. This includes but is not limited to changing dates of flights and
other variations to the itinerary. All personal expenses shall be responsibility of the prize
participants.
i. Flight Centre voucher conditions and Queensland operator terms and conditions apply.
6. The winner will be selected by a random draw. The drawing of the prize will be conducted at
XCOM Media Unit 1, 15 Lamington Street, New Farm, Brisbane on 25 November 2014 (10.00am
AEST). The winners will be notified by email after the draw and will be posted on
http://www.queenslandholidays.com.au/travel-tools/competitions/competitions_home.cfm. To claim the
voucher, the winner must supply proof of age (usually a driver’s license) and their postal address
(if different than driver’s license). When the prize has been claimed the voucher will be sent by
registered post to the winner.
7.If the prize voucher is not claimed within one month of the prize draw If the prize voucher is not claimed w
drawn and the new winner will be notified as above.
8. The prize voucher is not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash and is subject to
the conditions stated on the voucher. The Flight Centre voucher is valid for 12 months from the 
date of issue.

9. Prize participants must be eligible for a short term tourist visa to Australia for visa information
visit www.immi.gov.au/visitors/tourist. The prize participants must arrange and pay for their own
tourist visa to Australia prior to travel. Tourism Queensland will not be held responsible for any
visas that are not approved prior to the travel date resulting in inability to travel.
10. Tourism and Events Queensland accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the
prize or any variation in the prize advertised and the prize provided.

11. Tourism and Events Queensland will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever
which is suffered or sustained as a result of winning a prize.


12. Travel insurance is not provided and Tourism and Events Queensland recommends the prize
participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance including medical coverage (at their own
expense) prior to travel.


13. The winner accepts that Tourism and Events Queensland may use the winner’s name and
likeness for promotional and publicity purposes.
 
14. The Promoter’s decision concerning any aspect of the competition is final and no correspondence
will be entered into.


15. Employees and Directors of Tourism and Events Queensland, or agencies associated with the
promotion, and their immediate families, are ineligible to enter the promotion.
