Terms and Conditions of Entry

    Entry is open to all Australian residents.
    Entry dates for the competition start at 0900hrs AEDT on 10th November 2014 and conclude on 31st December 2014 at 2100hrs AEDT.
    To enter customers fill out an entry form in any of the 38 Aussie Disposals stores or online at www.aussiedisposals.com.au. Customers to purchase any item in store or online to fill in an entry form to be signed by the staff member with the receipt number and date entered by the staff member between 10th November 2014 and 31st December 2014, and go into the draw to win 5 nights accommodation at either Club Med Malaysia, Thailand or Bali. Transfers and compulsory Club Med membership are at prize-winners own expense. Not redeemable for cash and not transferable. Booking can only be redeemed 30 days prior travel and depends on availability. Tickets are non-transferable, non-reroutable, non-endorsable & non-refundable. All reservations are subject to availability. Tickets valid for 35 days from date of departure. Black-out periods apply, including school holidays and restricted periods and special events. Travel insurance not included. Prize must be redeemed at where2travel Malvern or Carnegie. Travel must be booked by 31 December 2015, booking cannot be made outside of 30 days on the intended travel date, subject to availability.

    Return economy class airfares from the winner nearest capital city included (this includes airport and departure taxes) 2 adults included in prize.
    The winner/s and travelling companions must travel at the same time, must depart from the same capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest capital city for flight departure (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth).  (If the winner is from Tasmania, ACT or NT connecting flights from these cities to the nearest flight departure capital city will be included in the prize package for the winner and travelling companion only – if applicable)
    The winner (and their companion) are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight associated taxes included within the prize), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs.  Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances..
    Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain the prior permission of a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter. If the winner/s is under the age of 18 as at the date of the draw, an adult must accompany the minor in the participation of the prize.
    A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable.
    It is the traveller’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the traveller/s.
    Aussie Disposals, Salmat Digital Pty Limited make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government, local consular offices and the web site of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
    Form must be completed in an Aussie Disposals store or online via downloadable entry form with order number filled in. The stores will send in all entry forms every fortnight on Mondays for collection.
    Drawing of the prize. Only one prize will be drawn. The draw with drawn at Salmat Digital, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060 on 5th February 2015 at 3pm AEDT.
    Winner will be notified in writing within in 2 days of the draw and published in The Australian 12th of February 2015 and on www.aussiedisposals.com.au website and published on facebook www.facebook.com.au/aussiedisposals on Monday 9th February 2015, subject to winners’ authorisation.
    For the winner of the competition the prize will need to be collected from Where2Travel Malvern or Where2Travel Carnegie at a time to be arranged with the director of Where2Travel. A photo of the winner will also be placed onto the Aussie Disposals website.
    Aussie Disposals, Salmat Digital Pty Limited and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
    If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to lost mail, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any direction given under State Regulation.

    Subject to any direction given under relevant State legislation, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Salmat Digital Pty Limited, Level 2, 116 Miller Street, North Sydney NSW 2060 on 08/05/2015 at 3:00PM AEDT. The winners will be notified within 2 days of the. The winners will be notified of their prize in writing. Winners will have their details published in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper on 14/05/2014.
