With anthems like Social Currency, Farewell Rocketship, and Jellylegs, youd have had to be living in a bomb shelter and living off cans of recalled cat food for the past four years to not have heard of and subsequently loved Melbournes CHILDREN COLLIDE.
Having appeared beside acts like Does It Offend You, Yeah? at the Coaster Music Festival, and gained such honours as The Long Nows 90th place in Triple Js Hottest 100 Australian Albums of All Time, Children Collide seem poised to be Australias premier rock band.
The first single from their latest album Monument, Sword to a Gunfight is accompanied by a dark and deeply disturbing music video which has received wide acclaim.
In February, however, Children Collides drummer, Ryan Caesar, announced his departure from the band. Their current Sword Takes Hold tour will be Caesars last and, accordingly, will be your final chance to witness the wild energy of a Children Collide live show with the lineup from The Long Now.
