Crown Gifts Facebook Competition Terms and Conditions:

1.            Entering the Competition

a)            This Competition is governed by and subject to the following Terms and Conditions    (Competition).

b)            Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the Terms and Conditions.

c)            Participation in this Competition constitutes an acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

d)            The Competition commences at 10.00am on Monday 9 March 2015 and concludes at 5.00pm on Sunday 22 March 2015 (Competition Period).

e)            This Competition is open to Facebook users aged 18 years and over (Users).

f)            To be eligible, Users must first ‘Like’ the Crown Towers, Crown Metropol Melbourne or Crown Promenade Melbourne Facebook pages by selecting the ‘Like’ icon at facebook.com/crowntowers, facebook.com/crownmetropolmelbourne or facebook.com/crownpromenademelbourne during the Competition Period.  Users who currently ‘Like’ icon the Crown Towers, Crown Metropol Melbourne or Crown Promenade Melbourne Facebook pages will also be eligible.

g)             To enter the Competition, Users must correctly name in the comments section the award-winning spa located in Crown Metropol Melbourne, during the Competition Period, to receive one (1) automated entry into the Competition prize draw:

h)            All entries must be received by Crown by 5.00pm on Sunday 22 March 2015. No other method of entry will be accepted.

i)            The Competition prize draw will take place at 11.00am on Monday 23 March 2015 at the Crown Hotels Executive Offices, Level 2, Crown Entertainment Complex, 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank, VIC, 3006. The first correctly answered entry randomly drawn will be deemed the winner of the Competition. 

2.            Prize

a)          The prize is:

    One (1) Crown Gifts card valued at $400.00;

Total prize value for the Competition is $400.00

b)            The prize must be redeemed before Wednesday 23 March 2016. If the Prize (or any part thereof including the remaining balance) is not redeemed by Wednesdau 23 March 2016, the prize will be forfeited.

c)            The prize is subject to availability, excludes special event periods, black-out periods, public holidays and bookings are essential.

d)            The prize is strictly non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other goods or services.

 

3.             Important notice to all users:

a)            The prize is not to be used in conjunction with any other offer and is not redeemable for cash.

b)            The Competition is only open to persons aged 18 years and over who are not excluded from the Casino or otherwise prohibited from entering the Crown Entertainment Complex for any reason.

c)            A maximum of one (1) entry into the Competition is permitted per User.

d)            The winner will be notified in writing. The winner’s details will be posted on the Crown Metropol Melbourne Facebook Page and the winner may be contacted via Facebook direct message, email, and/or phone on Monday 23 March 2015.

e)            Employees of the Crown Group of Companies, Crown Melbourne, Crown Perth and Crown Resorts are not permitted to participate in this Competition.

f)             Subject to law, (including its employees, agents and contractors) have no liability to any person for injury (including death), loss or damage whatsoever howsoever arising in connection with this Competition or the prize (including the awarding, condition, use or misuse of the prize), This clause does not apply to the extent that Crown’s liability (if any) arises from an act or omission of Crown in respect of its supply of services and/or goods to a prize winner in the ordinary course of Crown’s business.

g)            Crown’s decisions in connection with any aspect of this Competition will be final and binding on each entrant.

h)            Any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification of any entrant.

i)              Disqualification will be at Crown’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.

j)              Subject to clause 3(d) and 3(o), Users’ information collected during this Competition will not be disclosed to any third parties, unless such disclosure is required by law.

k)             Where the Prize winner is not able to redeem any part of the prize package due to physical inability or incapacity, poor weather or any other circumstances beyond Crown’s or the prize provider’s reasonable control, then that of the prize will be forfeited and is not redeemable for cash, or any other prize, goods or services.

l)              If the prize is unavailable for any reason at the time of the prize draw, Crown will instead award the winner a similar prize of equivalent value (as determined by Crown).

m)           Crown reserves the right to cancel this Competition at any time (such as in the case of unforeseen circumstances outside Crown’s reasonable control).

n)            All meals, beverages, tours, tips, transfers and any other extras not stated in the prize descriptions above are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.

o)            Crown reserves the right and licence to use an entrant’s name, suburb, photograph, image and likeness for the purpose of promoting and advertising the Competition and/or the Crown Entertainment Complex (Crown Melbourne and/or Crown Perth).

p)            In the event that the prize draw cannot be conducted at the specified time, due to unforeseen circumstances outside Crown’s reasonable control, the prize draw will take place as soon as practicable after the delay has been resolved.

q)            This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook.  By participating in this promotion you release Facebook from any liability. All data collected (where applicable) is administered by Crown Melbourne.

r)             For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, ‘Crown’ means Crown Melbourne Limited ABN 46 006 973 262.
