ACO’s Reflections on Gallipoli is a powerful and deeply moving music/theatre exploration of the Anzac tale by our greatest storytellers. Neil Armfield, Richard Tognetti, soprano Taryn Fiebig and many more bring to life the unexpected moment of camaraderie when Australian and Turkish combatants called a day’s truce, leaving their trenches to bury their dead. Featuring Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending, Elgar’s Sospiri, a world premiere by Carl Vine and a selection of Turkish works.
