What? Jamie Oliver Pasta Making Competition!
“…Calling all chefs 13 & under. Does your little one have what it takes to become the next Jamie Oliver? Now’s you chance to prove it. Send us a pasta recipe along with a video of your little one creating the dish with a grown up for your chance to win one of three amazing prizes…!”
Who? Kids aged 13 and younger
When? Entries close March 31st
How to enter?
Get cooking at home and upload to YouTube a short video of yourself and a grown up cooking your amazing pasta dish. Name the video ‘Are you the next Jamie Oliver?’ so everyone can find it!
Submit your recipe and a link to your video to
pastapassione@jamiesitalian.com.au. Don’t forget to include your contact details!
The top five (5) entries’ video will be shared on the Jamie’s Italian Australia Facebook page where Facebook users will vote for their favourite video with a “like” on Facebook.
The three (3) videos on Facebook with the most “likes” will be announced the winners!
The Jamie’s Italian team will select the top five (5) entries on Wednesday 1st April 2015
The top five (5) finalists will have their videos uploaded to the Jamie’s Italian Australia Facebook Page on Wednesday 1st April 2015 at 15:00pm AEST.
Each of the five (5) videos will remain on the Jamie’s Italian Australia Facebook Page until Wednesday 8th April 18:00pm AEST.
The top three (3) entries who receive the highest number of “likes” from Facebook users will be announced as the winners on Thursday 9th April at 09:00am AEST.
The Prize:
The Jamie’s Italian Executive Chef will visit each winner at their Primary School to cook their winning pasta recipe with the winner for their class.
If the Jamie’s Italian Executive Chef is not available, another Jamie’s Italian Chef will attend instead.
Where possible, the winner and their class will visit their closest Jamie’s Italian restaurant to redeem their prize. This option will be determined by the Jamie’s Italian team.
All equipment and ingredients will be provided by Jamie’s Italian.
Each of the three (3) winning pasta recipes will feature on the specials board in each Jamie’s Italian restaurant in Australia, available for customers to purchase for one week.Terms and Conditions of Entry:
Video entries must be publicly uploaded to
www.YouTube.com with a link to the video and the entrant’s pasta recipe emailed to
pastapassione@jamiesitalian.com.au.
Entrants must provide contact information when entering in order to be contacted if selected as a winner.
The video must be no longer than three (3) minutes.
An adult over eighteen (18) years of age must be present in the video for the entry to be considered.
Children entering must be thirteen (13) years old or younger.
By entering the competition, you are permitting Jamie Oliver Enterprises Limited and/or its associated companies and/or any co-promoters to share the supplied video or an edited version via its channels and/or external channels.
Entries close and must be received by 11.59pm AEST on Tuesday 31st March 2015 via
pastapassione@jamiesitalian.com.au.
Winners will be contacted via the contact information provided by the entrant when submitting their entry.
In the chance that two or more finalists’ videos receive the same number of “likes” on Facebook at the end of the voting week, the entrants will be tied and will each receive the prize.
If the Jamie’s Italian Australia team do not receive a response by the winner within 3 months, the prize will be forfeited and a runner up entrant will be rewarded with the prize.
The winning recipes may be slightly altered by the Jamie’s Italian team to ensure all food ethics are met to the Jamie’s Italian standards.
Prizes are non-transferable.
We reserve the right to amend these rules at any time, or to cancel, alter or amend the competition or prize draw at any stage should it be necessary.
