On May 14 the International Design Forum will bring designers from Japan to Slovenia to Melbourne for a one-day masterclass event.
Held by agIdeas to celebrate their 25th anniversary, the forum will comprise workshops, talks and panels with 13 specialists from fields as diverse as entertainment, big data and social enterprise to share their insight and experience, and explain how to make it.
It’s a packed schedule. A cursory glance reveals events hosted by entertainment designer Aaron Limonick from Naughty Dog, senior product designer @Twitter Miki Setlur, data visualiser Lisa Strausfeld, avant-garde furniture designer Dirk Vander Kooijooij and director Neil Huxley. And that’s just half of it.
The International Design Forum takes place on May 14 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (tickets are available here).
