Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms & Conditions. By entering or participating in the "LEGO® DUPLO® Mum Hacks Competition” (“Competition”), you accept and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. Entries must comply with these Terms to be valid.
1. Competitions

1.1 All Competitions are administered by specific companies within the LEGO Group. The promoter of this Competition is LEGO Australia Pty Ltd for participants who are residents of Australia, and LEGO New Zealand Ltd for participants who are residents of New Zealand.

1.2 No purchase or entry fee is required to enter or win a Competition. However, entering a competition may involve using social media channels and you may therefore incur data charges from your Internet services provider.

1.3 The LEGO Group reserves the right to cancel or change the Competition and/or amend these Official Rules without notice in the event there is an actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside the LEGO Group’s reasonable control.

1.4 It is a condition of entry that participants agree to abide by our Official Rules.
2. Entries

2.1 Employees of companies in the LEGO Group, agencies and companies associated with the LEGO Group and the immediate families of such employees are not eligible contestants.

2.2 Qualification to enter in the Competition is achieved by uploading a Mum Hack image or video to Facebook or Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #DUPLOMumHacks.

2.3 By entering a Competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. The LEGO Group reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants. The LEGO Group reserves the right to remove all submitted entries if these instructions are not followed and/or if a participant is found to have cheated. Further, the LEGO Group reserves the right not to award a prize to a Potential Winner (and to select an alternative Potential Winner winner) if it becomes aware or has reasonable grounds to believe a Potential Winner is not eligible.

2.4 By entering, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is compliant with Facebook’s Terms of Service and Instagram’s Terms of Use and Twitter’s legal terms

2.5 Photos, stories and entries containing offensive content or content which condones, promotes or encourages any illegal activities of any nature, are not permitted, will not be considered and will be removed immediately. Photos, videos, and other entry materials must not contain trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property assets of any other person or business entity.

2.6 By submitting an entry, each participant: (a) warrants and represents that he/she owns the rights to the content submitted and that the content submitted is: (i) original to him/her and has been legally obtained and created, (ii) does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy or publicity rights or any other legal or moral rights of any third party; (b) grants the LEGO Group a worldwide, royalty free, perpetual license to, copy and reproduce the video or entry on the LEGO® website, its websites and its social media channels; and (c) agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the LEGO Group against any and all claims, damages, expenses, costs and liabilities relating to trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property rights, right of publicity, right of privacy or defamation.

2.7 Entries must be received no later than 11:59:59 PM AEST on Sunday 17th May 2015. No responsibility is accepted for entries which are invalid, incomplete, illegible, lost or delayed in transit, or which fail to be properly submitted. Proof of sending does not constitute proof of receipt.

2.8 Competitions must be entered as per any instructions set out for the competition in question on the LEGO websites and channels. Participants can enter the competition with multiple unique entries, however, they will only be eligible to win one prize. Multiple entries containing content identical or substantially similar to any previously submitted entry will be disregarded. Participants may enter through more than one social media network, but only by using a single user account for each network. Entries submitted through the use of multiple accounts on any social media network will be disregarded.

2.9 The LEGO Group takes no responsibility for lost or misdirected entries.
3. Winners and Prizes

3.1 Cash or credit alternatives to the prize stated will not be offered. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. The LEGO Group does not accept any responsibility for variations in the value of prizes awarded.

3.2 All prizes are subject to availability, the LEGO Group reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of equal or greater value than the prizes advertised.

3.3 No part of the prize is exchangeable for cash or any other prize.

3.4 The Potential Winner will be notified directly through the media in which the competition has been entered or otherwise no later than 7 days after termination of any Competition. The Potential Winner will be deemed to have received our email within 24 hours of sending.

3.5 In order to be certified as the Official Winner, the Potential Winner must reply to this email no later than 7 days after the date of the email, indicating their acceptance of and agreement with:

    a statement of eligibility;
    a release of liability; and
    a publicity release (except were prohibited by law)

3.6 If a prize is not claimed in time, a new Potential Winner will be selected and the first Potential Winner will have forfeited their right to receive a prize.
4. Data Protection

4.1 Personal data relating to entrants will only be used for the specific competition and will be deleted afterwards.

4.2 By entering any Competition, you explicitly confirm that you consent to your personal data being held by the LEGO Group in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your personal data may be processed by the LEGO Group, the LEGO Group Company in your country and third party suppliers to the LEGO Group, such as our marketing agencies. Such processing will be undertaken for the purposes set out in our Privacy Policy accessible at our website. The LEGO Group is defined as LEGO System A/S as the data controller and its subsidiaries as described here.

4.3 Please note that the LEGO Group reserves the right to use the names of the Official Winner for publicity purposes. By participating, entrants agree to have their name and town of residence published in a Winners’ List, to be made available to the public in accordance with these Official Rules without compensation.
5. Miscellaneous

5.1 By participating in a Competition you agree to accept our Official Rules, and the decisions of the Judges, which are final.

5.2 The LEGO Group reserves the right to amend these Official Rules at any time. Furthermore, the LEGO Group reserves the right to extend, change or terminate any Competition at any time.

5.3 This Prize Drawing is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. Instagram, or Twitter. Participant information is being provided to Sponsor, not Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

5.4 By participating in this Competition, participants agree to release and hold harmless Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and their respective subsidiaries and affiliates, and each of their respective parent companies, and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claim or cause of action, to the extent permissible by law, arising out of participation in the Competition, or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. This release does not apply to claims for personal injury or death caused by the negligence of Sponsor.

5.5 For the name of the Official Winner, members of the public can request this by writing to LEGO Australia Pty Ltd, Level 2, 1 Innovation Road, Macquarie Park, NSW, 2113 Australia, within 90 days of the closing date of this Competition.

5.6 Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of these Official Rules, the marketing materials related to this Competition, or in the announcement of the Winner. In no case will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded.

5.7 All entry materials become the property of the Sponsor. Entrants grant Sponsor the right to use all submitted entry materials for purposes of advertising, trade, or any marketing purpose without compensation.

5.8 All national, regional, or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner. All national, regional, and local laws and regulations apply. This Competition is void where prohibited.
6. How to contact us

6.1 You can contact us in relation to the Competition by contacting the LEGO Customer Service help line on 1800 683 100 for Australian residents and 0800 534 643 for New Zealand residents.

6.2 Nothing shall exclude the LEGO Group's liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under law. The LEGO Group does not otherwise accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants of a Prize Draw or as a result of losing or accepting any prize.

6.3 The LEGO Group is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet, or any website, or any combination of these, including any injury or damage to entrants or any other persons computer or mobile phone relating to or resulting from participation in the Prize Draw.
7. Competition Instructions: #DUPLOMumHacks

7.1 From the 14th April 2015 to 31st May 2015, participants will upload their Mum Hack image or video, using the hashtag #DUPLOMumHacks, to be considered for a prize. All entries shared directly to the LEGO® DUPLO® Facebook page using the hashtag #DUPLOMumHacks are valid entries.

7.2 The necessary steps to enter the contest are:

    a. Come up with an idea on how to help make life easier for other mums. Inspiration can be found on the LEGO DUPLO website , the LEGO Family website or the LEGO DUPLO Facebook page.
    b. Shoot a picture or video of your Mum Hack and share it with us here on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with #DUPLOMumHacks. A panel of judges from LEGO Australia Pty Ltd will select one Potential Winner at the end of the competition.

7.3 This competition is only accessible if you upload an image or video via Facebook https://www.facebook.com or Instagram https://instagram.com/ or Twitter https://twitter.com using the hashtag #DUPLOMumHacks. It´s only possible to participate in the competition if the social media profile is set to be “public”.

7.4 A Potential Winner will be selected by a panel of judges from LEGO Australia Pty Ltd, during week 24 2015. The panel of judges will consist of the General Manager, Head of Marketing and Senior Brand Manager for LEGO Australia Pty Ld. The winning entry will be selected by the judging panel based on creativity and originality. Chance plays no part in selecting the Potential Winner.

7.5 Entrants will participate by uploading images to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #DUPLOMumHacks. There is no limitation of the amount of different images an individual person can enter. The entry images may be selected for use across the LEGO channels.

7.6 The prize for the winner is a new LEGO DUPLO set every month. This is defined as the winner receiving a new 2015 LEGO DUPLO set every month from May 2015 through to December 2015. Each set will be a minimum RRP of $22.99 AUD / $24.99 NZD, depending on the winner’s country of residence. The winner will receive a new 2015 LEGO DUPLO set every month starting May 2015 and ending December 2015.

7.7 The prizes will be shipped every month, before the 29th of each month. The winner is deemed to have received the prize on the day it was shipped. 7.8 The LEGO Group makes no representation that materials on this site relating to this Competition are appropriate or available for use at any other locations, and access to them from territories where their content are illegal is strictly prohibited.

7.9 The competition is open to all valid holders of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts who are legal residents of Australia or New Zealand.

A.l0 Entries submitted prior to 30th April 2015 will be pre moderated, meaning it can take up to 48 hours from submitting the entry until the entry is visible on the LEGO DUPLO #DUPLOMumHacks Facebook Page.

A.11 Entries submitted from 30th April 2015 onwards, using Instagram and Twitter, will be pre moderated, meaning there will be a delay of up to 48 hours from an entry being submitting to it being visible on the LEGO DUPLO #DUPLOMumHacks Facebook Page.
A.12 Entries submitted from 30th April 2015 onwards using Facebook will not appear on the LEGO DUPLO #DUPLOMumHacks Facebook Page, but will still be counted as an entry into the competition.
