To celebrate 50,000 Emergency Home Assist members, RACV will give the 50,000th member the second year of subscription free plus a $500 RACV Resorts Gift Voucher.

RACV general manager home services Aaron Flavell says he is excited about the approaching 50,000 members. 

“It’s great to see so many members taking up the Emergency Home Assist service,” he says.

“We had a fantastic result in April, helping nearly 3000 members with home emergencies, often arriving in under 60 minutes”

In April, the most common emergency was a broken heating/cooling system.

“Winter is coming, and at this time of year we’re seeing these systems break down,” he says.
“We won’t leave our members out in the cold and the cost of a subscription is often less than a single call-out, especially on a weekend.”

All members who purchase Emergency Home Assist will automatically qualify for the competition, with the 50,000th sign-up winning the prize.

Tradies are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and in 90% of cases, arrive within an hour.

In April, the average response time was 45 minutes.

 

Emergency Home Assist gives members up to eight emergency call-outs each year and there is no charge to attend.

The cost also includes minor parts and materials used in repairs.
