Terms & Conditions

Participation in the promotion should be deemed acceptance of all terms and conditions in the Terms & Conditions and the Entry Form.

The Entry Form is part of the overall Terms and Conditions.

The competition is a game of skill.

Information on how to enter & prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.

Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand, 18 years of age or over. Employees and the immediate families of The Promoter (BJ Ball Pty Ltd & BJ Ball Ltd.), and the Promoter's Agencies are ineligible to enter this promotion.

Entrants can enter by logging onto the URL of the website: www.bjball.com.au and complete and print the Entry Form. Send the completed entry form and 2 samples of the printed piece to BJ Ball PO Box 6247, Blacktown NSW 2148. It is the condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the entrant agrees to abide by these conditions. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

There is no restriction on the number of entries that can be submitted by one person. Late, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted. The entry must be your own work and must not impede copyright laws. The majority of the stock used in the printed piece must be on Mohawk paper ranged and distributed by BJ Ball ( a List of Mohawk products can be found on our website www.bjball.com.au ). The entrant as part of completing the entry form agrees to assign the use of the images and promotional activity of their entry to the Promoter (BJ Ball Pty Ltd) to use where they deem appropriate for a period of 12 months after the close date of the promotion. Entries may feature on the Promoters social media sites during and post promotional period. If necessary the entrants and winner must sign a specified Deed of Release so that BJ Ball (The Promoter) may utilise the entry in (whatever way they are seeking) and that the participant releases BJ ball and its successors, assignees, agents and licensees from any and all claims, demands and proceedings of any nature arising out of any use of the entry.

The promotion commences at 00.00am on 1st March 2014 and closes at 11.59pm (AEST) on 30th June 2015.

The winner will be announced on the 2nd September 2015 at the Mohawk Show by BJ Ball held in Sydney Australia at approximately 8.30pm (AEST). All entrants will be notified by email of the winner of the competition.

The winning entrant will win a trip for two to New York. Staying in a twin or double room on a bed and breakfast basis. The prize includes return economy class flights from any capital Australian city or Auckland New Zealand; 4 nights

accommodation (The New Yorker Hotel or equivalent) in New York ; a day trip to Mohawk Paper Mill; a visit to Pentagram Design Consultancy. Transfer to and from JFK New York airport are included. Spending money of US$1,000 is included as part of the prize. Elements of the prize (airfares, accommodation, transfers) are at the discretion of the Promoter.

The prize does not include food and drink, travel insurance, personal expenditure and incidental costs other than those stated. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure they have a valid passport and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for the trip.

The promoters will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered during the use of the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner (and companion) may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

All elements of the prize are subject to availability and must be taken between 1st February and 31st May 2016 and 1st September and 30th November 2015. The prize is not transferable and can not be redeemed for cash.

The winner agrees to the use of their name and printed entry for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and agrees that the Promoter will own the copyright of any such images in all material incorporating the Mohawk Show by BJ Ball.

BJ Ball Pty Ltd collect the personal and demographic information you choose to provide us. We also collect information about how you use our sites and the areas of our site you visit. We may also acquire information about you from third parties in order to further personalise your experience. The resulting logs contain information necessary for analysing the use of resources, troubleshooting problems and improving services.

Information collected through the entry process may be used in promotional activity. We may use your information to contact you about activities at BJ Ball.

If you have consented for us to do so, we may use your information to contact you directly or through third parties about our products and services.

We also share information where legally required.

We may disclose and transfer information if our business is sold or acquired.
