The sisters really are doing it for themselves. After winning multiple triple j competitions and playing at Glastonbury, the band made up of the four Findlay sisters, are back on the scene and preparing for a new album release. The fresh material takes on a more psychedelic vibe, moving away from their previous glam rock sound. ‘Golden Dream’, the first taste of the new-look Stonefield, takes a feminine run at the age-old tale of being on the road and leaving a lover behind. So, to celebrate, they are hitting the road through June and July.

 

We are giving away a double pass to their show at Goodgod Small Club on Friday July 3 with Magic Bones and Destrends.

 Stonefield, formerly Iotah, won triple J Unearthed High back in 2010. Who has been your other favourite winner to date?
