May Gibbs’ quintessentially Australian classics have fascinated and delighted generations of children and families, introducing them to the wonder and magic of the Australian bush.

In this new adaptation, the iconic tales of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie come to life on stage for contemporary audiences.

The Gumnut babies are on a mission to see a human – but only in the distance! On their journey to the big city they meet friends and foes including Professor Kookaburra, Mrs Fantail, Mr Lizard, Mr Frog, Mrs Snake, Mr Possum and, of course, Little Ragged Blossom.

Can Snugglepot lead the way? Can Cuddlepie hold his nerve? Can they avoid falling victim to the Big Bad Banksia Man?

These beloved characters come to life on stage as this funny, enchanting production introduces today’s children to the wonderful world of May Gibbs.

A new play about Gallipoli by Justin Fleming

Shellshock is a love story. Granted, an unusual love story… between an Australian teenager and his mate Herman, a tortoise – the oldest living survivor of the Gallipoli campaign.

Written by one of Australia’s most prolific playwrights Justin Fleming, this brand new production is headed up by international director Wayne Harrison. The brilliant cast includes Benson Jack Anthony, Jack Finsterer, Sandy Gore, Yalin Ozucelik and Francesca Savige. Joseph Tawadros’ beautiful music provides the plays score.

A heartfelt and quirky new play featuring Turkish shadow puppets, Shellshock will be a highly entertaining and uplifting experience for young and not-so-young audiences, in the spirit of War Horse.

Shellshock is a new play commissioned by Riverside Theatres.

In Vogue: Songs By Madonna premiered at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival and has gone on to delight audiences and critics in New York, London, Auckland and Edinburgh where it received 5 stars and standing ovations. Nominated for Best Cabaret Perth Fringe and winner Best Cabaret Adelaide Fringe 2014.
