ANCAP Crash Test Entry

Open Road is giving five NRMA Members the chance to win* a double pass to attend an ANCAP crash test at Huntingwood, Sydney.

ANCAP use a range of internationally recognised crash tests and safety assessments to determine the overall safety of a vehicle. This is a rare opportunity as the lab is not often open to the public.

The ANCAP test will take place between 1 October and 11 December 2015. All winners and their companions must be 16 years or over.

For your chance to win, simply fill in your details below:

Terms and conditions apply. Game of chance. Competition open to NRMA Members who are NSW and ACT residents and 16 years and over. Entry is via the mynrma website only. Competition opens 3/7/15 and ends 7/8/15. Winners will be notified 14/8/15. Read our Privacy Policy.

ANCAP Crash Test Competition Terms and Conditions

1.   By participating in the ANCAP Crash Test promotion (Promotion) you will be deemed to have: (a) accepted these terms and conditions; and (b) expressly consented to our use of your personal information under the Privacy Act, Spam Act and other related communication and privacy legislation for marketing and other NRMA business purposes.
2.   The promoter is National Roads and Motorists' Association Limited, trading as NRMA Motoring & Services ABN 77 000 010 506 of 9A York St, Sydney, NSW 2000 (Promoter).
3. The Promotion commences at 10 am (AEST) on 3rd July 2015 and entries close at 5 pm (AEST) on 7 August (Promotional Period).
4. Entry is open to NRMA Members residing in NSW and ACT who are 16 years or over.

How to Enter
5.   To enter this Promotion, you must complete the entry form located at the address nominated in the Open Road magazine July/August 2015 issue at www.mynrma.com.au during the Promotional Period and include your name, address, email, telephone number and any other information so requested.
6. This is a game of chance and skill plays no part. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with entrants. Only one entry is permitted per entrant.
7.   All entries become the property of the Promoter.

Eligibility
8. Employees of the Promoter and its Related Bodies Corporate (as this term is defined in the Corporations Act) and such employees' immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
9. To protect the integrity of the competition, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to verify, at any time (including after the closing of the Promotion) the validity of all entries (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits invalid, incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries or tampers with the entry process or uses any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means to submit repeated entries.

Draws and Prizes
10. All draws will take place at the premises of the Promoter, being 9A York Street, Sydney NSW 2000 at 10 am (AEST) on 13 August 2015.
11.   There are five (5) prizes to be given away. The first 5 valid entries drawn from the total number of entries received will each win a double pass to attend an ANCAP vehicle crash test at Crashlab Huntingwood NSW which will take place on a day between 1 October and 11 December 2015, as determined by ANCAP(Event).
12. The total prize pool value is up to $5000 with individual prizes valued at an amount up to $1000 each comprising travel costs to and from the Event for the winner and their nominated companion, subject to those restrictions set out in clause 13.
13. The mode of transport to and from the Event is subject to NRMA's discretion and travel costs are not included for any persons who reside in the Newcastle, Sydney or Wollongong regions.
14. The winner and their nominated companion (who must be 16 years or over and who, on agreeing to participate in this Promotion and attend the Event, irrevocably and unconditionally consents to these terms and applying to him/her as if he/she was the winner under these terms) must depart from the same location and at the same time.
15. The Promoter will contact the winners 2 weeks prior to the scheduled testing day to provide notification of the day of the Event and further Event details.
16. Where the schedule testing at the Event is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, and the Event is to be rescheduled for the following day, the Promoter will provide overnight accommodation for any winners (and each winner's nominated companion) who reside outside of the Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong regions, for a maximum of one night. If the testing is delayed for more than one day, the winners (and each winner's nominated companion) will be required to return on to the rescheduled testing day for the Event, and under the same conditions as set out in these terms and conditions.
17. It is a condition of accepting the prize (and of attending the Event) that the winner and their nominated companion sign a confidentiality agreement, agree to not take any photographs, video, or make any other audio or visual recording or film at the Event and to otherwise comply with any work, health and safety requirements imposed by the Promoter, Crashlab and/or ANCAP to attend the Event.
18.   The prize value is correct at time of printing and the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any subsequent variation in the prize value.
19.   If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or part of the prize) with a prize of equal value or specification, subject to any written directions given by the appropriate State or Territory Lottery Departments. No responsibility or liability is accepted for any variation in the value of the prizes. All prize values are in Australian dollars.
20.   Prizes are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash.
21.   Winners will be notified by email on 14 August 2015 and winners' names will be published on www.mynrma.com.au on 17 August 2015. Only winners will receive written notification. If the winner cannot be reached within three weeks of the draw date via the email address, address or telephone number provided on their entry, then they will unfortunately be disqualified and their prize made eligible for redraw under clause 23.
22.   If for any reason a winner does not take an element of a prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, or chooses not to participate in the Promotion, then that prize, or element thereof, will be forfeited.
