Entry to the Competition is open to all residents of Australia.
If an entrant is under 18 years of age, they must obtain the permission of their parent or guardian before entering this competition.

To enter, entrants must:
Make a purchase at any ABC Shop or abcshop.com.au, fill in an entry form either in store or online and answer in 25 words of less ‘What’s the best adventure you’ve been on with your dad?’

One entry per transaction.

The winner of the Major Prize will be the best valid entry as judged by a panel made up of representatives from ABC Commercial having regard to skill, creativity and originality.
The Promoter may select additional entries to be used as replacements in the event that the first entrant chosen as a winner cannot satisfy these Terms and Conditions or claim the Prize.

The one (1) major prize winner will win:
Prize Value (incl. GST) One (1) $5000 Intrepid Travel Voucher $5000

The prize winner is responsible for any additional costs associated with using the Prize including accommodation, travel and/or transfer costs, expenses with respect to food and beverages, travel and medical insurance costs and spending money.

Non –exclusive rights.

1. The prize is a $5000 Intrepid Travel voucher.
2. The prize is subject to Intrepid Travel's terms and conditions, which can be
found at Intrepid Travel’s website www.intrepidtravel.com.
3. The prize is valid until 30th September 2017. The trip for which the voucher is redeemed must be booked and confirmed at least 60 days prior to departure. No extension is available.
4. This Intrepid Travel $5000 voucher can only be used for Intrepid Travel land only small group adventures, excluding Intrepid Urban adventures, Special groups & Antarctica trips (Eligible Package).
5. This voucher is for use with one Eligible Package valued over $500 and cannot be broken into different packages and must be taken at once.
6. This voucher, or any unused portion of the voucher, is not transferable or exchangeable other than as specified in conditions 27 and 28 and cannot be redeemed for any other form of compensation (including cash).
7. The voucher is only valid for new bookings of Eligible Packages and cannot be used on existing bookings or in conjunction with any other discounts or special offers on Eligible Packages.
8. The voucher cannot be redeemed for items not included in Eligible Packages, including any meals, sightseeing or activities, or accommodation which are not included in the package selected, or for personal spending money, passports, travel visas required, transport to and from departure points, travel insurance or any other ancillary costs.
9. Intrepid trips are subject to availability and confirmation by Intrepid Travel.
10. Travel Insurance is not provided as part of the prize but is required to be held by the prize winner and any travel companion for the duration of the trip for which the prize is exchanged at their own expense.
11. The prize winner and any travel companion are responsible for checking any travel advisories issued by the Government and determining whether they wish to accept the risk of travelling to the destinations included in the package selected.
12. The prize winner and any travel companion are responsible for obtaining any visa, travel documents, inoculations and health regulations required by a destination country included in the package selected.
13. Some Eligible Package trips must meet minimum number requirements prior to confirmation, so please check at time of booking. If an Eligible Package trip does not reach its minimum number requirement (if applicable), the winner will be informed and will have the opportunity to choose another Eligible Package trip, subject to availability. For more information, individuals should refer to the Booking Conditions on Intrepid’s website www.intrepidtravel.com.
14. The Promoters shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which arises in any way out of the Promotion (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with a prize except for any liability, which cannot be excluded by law. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoters will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of or in connection with this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoters including without limitation technical malfunctions or failures.
15. Tax implications may arise from the receipt or taking of a prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.
