Father’s Day may have come and gone but we’re keeping dad appreciation front and centre for a little longer. Thanks to the guys at Madman Entertainment we have 20 double passes to People, Places, Things to give away. Starring Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords) as Will, a graphic novelist and visual arts teacher who has keen kicked in the guts by life. After finding his wife cheating on him at his twin daughter’s birthday Will finds himself having to move out and move on. Now a single father and all around bummer, he slowly tries to pull himself together with the help of a student and her mum. Frankly, we’d watch just about anything starring Clement but People, Places, Things is greater than the sum of it’s parts. A familiar plot is made shiny and new by a solid combo of New York scenery and a script that is witty and sincere.
