With a central location, the beer garden is the perfect place to witness the on and off the track action during the 2015 spring carnival. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular racing as well as the laid-back, celebration vibe all from within your VIP area.

Terms & Conditions

1. The competition commences at 5pm Tuesday 1st September 2015 and concludes at 7pm Saturday 26 September 2015.
 2. All entrants will be subject to, and will need to adhere to, these terms and conditions as set out by the Promoter.
 3. Entry into the Competition constitutes the entrant’s unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.
 4. To participate in this competition, you must be 18 years of age or over. The winner must be 18 years of age or over.
 5. No employees of Albion Park Harness Racing Club or their direct family will be eligible to enter the competition.
 6. The Competition is open only to Queensland, Australia residents and the winner must live in Queensland.
 7. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries submitted to the Competition. The Promoter may request any document which establishes an entrant’s eligibility to enter to the Competition including, without limitation, an entrant’s identity, proof of age and place of residence.
 8. No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost, incomplete or misdirected entries. Entries which contain incorrect contact details shall be deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such a person are reserved.
 9. If the conduct or operation of the Competition is interfered with or disrupted in any way by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to (subject to any statutory requirements) suspend, modify, recommence or terminate the Competition as appropriate. For the avoidance of doubt, any cause which is outside the reasonable control of the Promoter includes, without limitation, vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, tampering, regulatory or legal matters, computer viruses or technical failures.
 10. If a Prize is unavailable for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any applicable statutory requirements.
 11. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw this competition at any time without notice and substitute the prize for cash or a cash equivalent. Prize valued at $500.
 12. The competition has a total prize pool of one (1) function for up to 6 people that includes one (1) premium finger food platter, a reserved area and seating in Blacks A Fake Beer Garden on a selected night during the Spring racing carnival, $100 worth of betting vouchers to be used at the tote on the night, four (4) hour beverage package for up to 6 people, one (1) race name, one (1) mobile ride.
 13. The Prize is to be used on 24th October 2015. If the Winner cannot attend this date another date may be selected after approval from the Promoter and the Prize may be modified.
 14. To ensure the responsible consumption of alcohol proof of age (18+) will be checked for each person receiving a beverage package on the night. If the Promoter has any reason whatsoever to believe the prize is being provided to a person under the age of 18, the police will be notified immediately and the prize cancelled.
 15. The Winner, once selected, will be notified via phone. If, despite all reasonable attempts, the Winner cannot be notified or the Promoter has not had any return communication from the Winner within seven (7) days of such notification, the Winner will no longer be entitled to the Prize and the Promoter may select a replacement winner at a time determined by the Promoter (Replacement Winner). In such case, the Replacement Winner will be entitled to the Prize. The Replacement Winner is deemed a Winner for the purposes of these terms and conditions.
 16. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Twitter.
 17. By entering the Competition, entrants provide the Promoter with authority to use their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including any photograph, film, and/or recording of same) in any media at any time or times without remuneration for the purposes of promoting the Competition, the event, the Promoter and/or the Promoter’s (or its related entities) products or services. Further, Winners agree to participate in all reasonable promotional activities in relation to the Competition and the winning of a Prize.
 18. By entering this competition, entrants provide the Promoter authority to add them to a mailing list. Entrants can unsubscribe to this mailing list at any such time.
