The Walk

The Walk is a true story based on Philippe Pettit’s book “To Reach the Clouds,” starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the young dreamer who dared the impossible: an illegal wire walk between the World Trade Center towers.

Twelve people have walked on the moon, but only one man has ever, or will ever, walk in the immense void between the World Trade Center towers. RAA is giving away inseason double passes to 20 lucky RAA members to see The Walk. The passes are valid at all participating cinemas from 15 October 2015, for the duration of the film’s season.


Information on how to enter and prize details form part of the conditions of entry.
All employees of the promoter and its related bodies corporate are ineligible to enter.
The competition commences on 8/10/15 and closes on 15/10/15.
The competition consists of 20 inseason movie passes, which entitles the winner to one pass per winner from 15/10/15 at participating cinemas
Total prize pool is $760
Only current RAA Members are eligible to enter.
To enter, members must complete the entry form found by following the link.
The draw will take place at 10am on 15/10/15 at RAA, 101 Richmond Road, Mile End, SA, 5031.
The first entry drawn that fulfils the competition entry criteria will win the prizes.
The winning members will be notified by email/mail/phone and the results published online at www.raa.com.au/competitions
In the event that RAA is unable to contact the winner then a redraw will be conducted
The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or taken for cash.
The winners agree to make themselves available for publicity opportunities at the discretion of the promoter for a period of three months after the collection of prizes.
The promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
The promoter shall not be liable for any tax implications that may arise as a result of accepting any prize. Independent financial advice should be sought by any person participating in the promotion.
