NRL AUCKLAND NINES PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Promotional Period
1. The NRL Auckland Nines promotion commences at 10am (AEST) on Monday 2
nd November 2015 and closes at 4pm (AEST) on
Monday 4
th January 2016 (“Promotional Period”).
Entry Requirements
2. The Promoter is Canterbury League Club Limited (ABN 84 000 191 248) of 26 Bridge Road, Belmore NSW 2192. Telephone
(02) 9704 7777.
3. The promotion will run at all Sydney Metropolitan venues which form part of the Canterbury League Club Group at the time during
the Promotional Period (Promotional Venue). This includes Canterbury, The Lakemba Club & Belfield RSL
4. Entry is only open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and older.
5. In order to participate in the promotion, persons must be 18 years or above.
6. The following persons (and their immediate families) are not eligible to participate in or win the promotion:
 Directors or auditors of the Promoter;
 the Promoter’s employees;
 Officers, executives or any staff of suppliers or contractors to the Promoter, who are directly involved in any aspect of the
promotion;
 Persons whose usual place of work is within premises owned or leased by the Promoter who are employed by any of the
contractors, licensees or lessees of the Promoter and;
 Persons employed by any other supplier or contractor of the Promoter who at or about the time of a particular draw, or
during the entry period for the promotion, are on any of the Promoter’s premises in that capacity such as an employee.
 Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or
by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother,
step-sister or first cousin.
7. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the
entry process or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
8. To enter, eligible entrants must make an eligible purchase, complete the entry form provided with the purchase and place the
completed entry form in the ‘Grand Final Experience’ entry box located at each Participating Venue.
9. An eligible purchase is the purchase of a Tooheys branded product including Tooheys New, Tooheys Old, Tooheys Extra Dry,
Tooheys 5 Seeds Cider or Darling Pale Ale.
10. Entries must be received during the Promotional Period.
11. Multiple entries are accepted; however entries are limited to one (1) entry per person per day.
Prize Details
12. There is 1 Major Prizes to be given away. Total prize value is $2,798
13. The Major Prize consists of:

14. The winner must collect their prize from Canterbury League Club, under no circumstances will the prize be mailed or couriered to the
winner.
15. The winner must be available to attend the 2016 NRL Auckland Nines at Eden Park which will be held on Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th
February 2016 & travel on the dates and times specified by the Promoter.
16. The prize values are recommended retail values as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing and the Promoter
accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize values.
17. Taking the prize is subject to any prevailing terms and conditions of the organisers.
18. The Winner and their guest must hold a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity remaining on the passport within 12 months of
the Competition closing date) and any other necessary travel documentation (including, without limitation, visas where necessary to
travel to Australia) and travel insurance. The filing and acquisition of all necessary travel documentation required by any
governmental body where the Winner and the Winner’s guest reside shall be the responsibility of the Winner and his/her guest.
Failure to acquire and produce travel documentation to the satisfaction of the Competition Entities may cause the Winner to forfeit
his/her Prize at the Competition Entities’ sole discretion. The Winner and Winners Guest should also be aware of entry requirements
into Australia. Please consult www.immig.gov.au and www.dfat.gov.au for more information.
19. All additional costs not expressly included in the Major Prize, but which may be incurred in taking the Major Prize, are the
responsibility of the winner and their guest (if any). Such additional costs may include but are not limited to:
a. any incidental charges incurred at nominated accommodation, including but not limited to room service, and any
additional accommodation
b. any incidental charges incurred with airline cost of meals
c. transport to and from airport departure point (including but not limited to domestic airfares, if required) and other
transfers not included in the Major Prize
d. telephone calls and data charges
e. laundry services
f. travel insurance
g. meals and beverages
h. spending money
i. any additional sightseeing or activities not included in the Major Prize
j. passports, visas (if applicable), inoculations, and
k. any other incidental and ancillary costs (including of a personal nature) incurred
Draw Details
20. The prize draw will take place at the office of Canterbury League Club, 26 Bridge Rd, Belmore NSW 2192 at 2pm (AEST) on
Thursday 7th January 2016.
21. Winner will be notified by telephone or email and names listed on the Canterbury League Club website and Facebook page by Friday
8
th January 2016.
22. The first eligible entry drawn from all eligible entries will win the Major Prize draw outlined in Clause 13.
23. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winners. If a prize is not claimed by the winner or the Promoter is unable to
contact the winner by 3pm Friday 22nd January 2016 or the winner forfeits for any reason the prize will be awarded to another entrant
in an unclaimed prize draw.
24. A draw for any unclaimed prizes will take place on Friday 22nd January 2016 at 4pm at the same place as the original draw, subject
to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners will be notified by telephone or email and names listed on the Canterbury
League Club website and Facebook page by Monday 25th January 2016.
General
25. By entering, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, consented to and complied with, and will be bound by, these
Conditions of Entry. You further agree that the decisions of the Promoter will be final and binding in all matters relating to the
Promotion. The Promoter and its directors, employees, representatives and agents shall not be liable for any loss or damage
whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or
sustained, as a result of accepting or using any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. To the extent
permitted at law, you release and discharge the Promoter and its directors, employees, representatives and agents from any and all
actions, claims, proceedings, damages, costs and expenses arising out of or in connection with the Promotion and/or the prizes.
26. Participation in the promotion by a Member or Guest confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions governing the promotion.
27. To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these terms and conditions make no provision or in relation to which the
relevant terms and conditions are unclear, the Promoter reserves the right to make a decision regarding such situation or issue and
absolute discretion will be final and binding.
28. All other costs not expressly provided for in these Terms and Conditions are the responsibility of the winner and their guests.
29. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter
reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to state regulations.
30. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. All applicable laws and regulations apply.
31. Promotional materials will be regarded as void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.
32. Members or Guests participating in the promotion consent to the publication of their name and/or photograph in any form of media
and agree to participate in any reasonable promotion requested by the Promoter.
33. The laws of the State of New South Wales govern the promotion.
