Terms and Conditions
1. Entering the Competition
a) This Competition is governed by and subject to the following Terms and Conditions (‘Competition’).
b) Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the Terms and Conditions.
c) Participation in this Competition constitutes an acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
d) The Competition commences at 10.00m AEST on Monday 16 November 2015 and concludes at 5.00pm AEST on Monday 30 November 2015 (‘Competition Period’).
f) This Competition is open to Facebook users aged 18 years and over following the Crown Towers Facebook page (‘Users’).
g) To enter the Competition, Users must detail in the comments section of the below post on the Crown Towers Facebook page during the Competition Period.

h) A maximum of one (1) entry into the Competition is permitted per User.
i) All entries must be received on the Crown Towers Facebook page by 5.00pm AEST on Monday 30 November 2015. No other method of entry will be accepted.
i) The Competition prize draw will take place at 10.00am AEST on Tuesday 1 December 2015 at the Crown Hotels Executive Offices, Level 2, Crown Entertainment Complex, 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank, VIC, 3006 where one (1) valid entry will be randomly drawn and announced as the winner of the Competition.
2. Prize
a) The prize is:
• Overnight accommodation in a Deluxe King room, breakfast at the Conservatory restaurant for two people and valet parking.
The total prize value for the Competition is $550.00.
b) The prize will be in the form of a Crown Gifts gift card and must be redeemed prior to Thursday 1 December 2016. If the prize or any part thereof (including any remaining balance) is not redeemed by Thursday 1 December 2016, the prize will be deemed forfeited.
c) The prize is strictly non-negotiable, not transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other goods or services.
d) The prize is not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.
3. Important notice to all users:
a) This Competition is not open to Members or other persons excluded from the casino pursuant to the provisions of the Casino Control Act or who are otherwise prohibited from entering the Crown Entertainment Complex for any reason, including persons who become prohibited before or after the prize draw (up to the time of receipt or collection of a prize by a prize winner).
b) The winner will be notified in writing. The winner may be contacted via Facebook direct message, email, and/or phone on Tuesday 1 December 2015.
c) Employees of the Crown Group of Companies, Crown Melbourne, Crown Perth, Crown Resorts, CrownBet and Betfair are not permitted to participate in this Competition.
d) Subject to law, Crown (including its employees, agents and contractors) has no liability to any person for injury (including death), loss or damage whatsoever howsoever arising in connection with this Competition or the prize (including the awarding, condition, use or misuse of the prize), This clause does not apply to the extent that Crown’s liability (if any) arises from an act or omission of Crown in respect of its supply of services and/or goods to a prize winner in the ordinary course of Crown’s business.
e) Crown’s decisions in connection with any aspect of this Competition will be final and binding on each User.
f) Any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in the disqualification of any User.
g) Disqualification will be at Crown’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.
h) Subject to clauses 1(j) and 3(m), Users’ information collected during this Competition will not be disclosed to any third parties, unless such disclosure is required by law.
i) Where the prize winner is not able to redeem any part of the prize package due to physical inability or incapacity, poor weather or any other circumstances beyond Crown’s or the prize provider’s reasonable control, the prize will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash, or any other prize, goods or services.
i) If the prize is unavailable for any reason at the time of the prize draw, Crown will instead award the winner a similar prize of equivalent value (as determined by Crown).
k) Crown reserves the right to cancel this Competition at any time (such as in the case of unforeseen circumstances outside Crown’s reasonable control).
l) All meals, beverages, tours, tips, transfers and any other extras not stated in the prize descriptions above are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
m) Crown reserves the right and licence to use a User’s name, suburb, photograph, image and likeness for the purpose of promoting and advertising the Competition and/or the Crown Entertainment Complex (Crown Melbourne and/or Crown Perth).
n) Crown may cancel or modify the Competition, but will only do so if this is unavoidable (for example, if the Competition cannot run for technical or administrative reasons that cannot be rectified). Crown will update these terms and conditions as soon as is practicable if this occurs. If the Competition is cancelled, Crown may select the winner from eligible entries received at the time of cancellation, if appropriate to do so in the circumstances.
o) In the event that the Competition winner selection draw cannot be conducted at the specified time due to unforeseen circumstances outside Crown’s reasonable control, the draw will take place as soon as is practicable after the delay has been resolved.
p) Users are required to take full responsibility for the content of their entry and for ensuring that their entry complies with these Terms and Conditions.
q) Entries will be deemed invalid if they breach these Terms and Conditions as determined by Crown in its sole discretion or any other content guidelines notified by Crown during the entry process for the Competition.
r) Crown may, in its absolute discretion, edit, modify, delete, remove or take-down any part of a User’s entry.
s) By submitting an entry into the Competition, each User agrees to assign all rights in the entry to Crown and consents to Crown using the entry in any manner Crown wishes (including modifying, adapting or publishing the entry, whether in original or modified form, in whole or in part or not at all), by way of all media, without payment to the User (of royalties, compensation or otherwise). By submitting an entry, each User consents to any dealings with the entry that may otherwise infringe their moral rights in the entry. Crown may copy any content submitted as part of an entry, cause the content to be seen and/or heard in public, and communicate the content to the public. It may also allow third parties to do these things.
t) Crown shall not be liable in any way if entries are unavailable as a result of technical malfunction or operator fault.
u) Crown will remove any Facebook posts that include swearing, derogatory or racist commentary, inflammatory commentary, imagery or commentary displaying alcohol abuse, imagery including nudity and/or unauthorised commercial communications such as spam.
v) This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook. By participating in this competition you release Facebook from any liability. All data collected (where applicable) is administered by Crown Melbourne.
w) For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, ‘Crown’ means Crown Melbourne Limited ABN 46 006 973 262.
