Are you a fan of gorgeous animation? Beautiful stories that will generally make you have a good cry at some point in the plot? Fantasy worlds that take you places you've never been? If so, chances are you're a fan of Studio Ghibli and their excellent films.

Based on the novel by Joan G. Robinson, When Marnie Was There is the film Ghibli released before their film production division went on hiatus – so it could be their last! (But let's hope not, because that thought is very depressing). The story follows 12-year-old Anna as she's sent away to a seaside town to live with her relatives and get some fresh air in her lungs, in an attempt to help her cope with her asthma. While there, she explores an abandoned mansion where she meets Marnie, and eventually, their tales and lives unfold and intertwine.

Luckily for you, thanks to the legends at Madman we have five copies of When Marnie Was There to give away on DVD!
