To apply for a marriage certificate or apply to get married at a BDM registry locations (Chippendale, Parramatta and an additional venue in Wollongong) Office or change your surname on your driver’s licence please visit our website, drop into one of our Service Centres or call 13 77 88.

Terms and Conditions
1. PROMOTER

The Promoter is Service NSW (ABN 37 552 837 401) of Level 2, 66 Harrington Street, The Rocks, NSW 2000 ("the Promoter").
 
2. WHO MAY ENTER

Entrants must be aged 12 or older and be a resident of New South Wales.  Employees of the Promoter and its client agencies and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

3. HOW TO ENTER

4. SELECTION OF WINNERS

All entries will be in the running to win one of three great prizes.

The Promoter's decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every entrant. No correspondence will be entered into.

Prizes unclaimed after a period of one month from the date of notification of the winner may be forfeited and used by the Promoter at the discretion of the Promoter.

The prizes will be posted to the address nominated by the winner/s. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for any lost or misdirected mail.

8. PRIVACY

The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may disclose the winners’ information to third parties for the purposes of awarding the prize. Entrants must provide their personal information otherwise their entries will be invalid.

9. PUBLICITY

Entrants agree that if they win any prize they will co-operate with the Promoter in providing the story of their win, including being interviewed, photographed and filmed.

Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's entry, name, likeness and image in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration in connection with the promotion or the purposes of the promotion.

Winning entrants agree that they will not provide their story to any media organisation without the Promoter’s prior written consent.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, illness or death or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion or any prize, including where arising out of the following:

(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control) including inaccessibility of any website;

(b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;

(c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;

(d) the use of a prize or (e) the award of a prize to an ineligible entrant.
