Turn up your stereo and get ready for some great tunes with The Westerner Music Competition.



A project from Adam Weston of Birds of Tokyo fame, Firestarter Music is bringing the sounds of some of Australia’s best independent bands to the people.

Firestarter Music’s artists range from indie, alternative and hard rock sounds, to swing, country and hip-hop.

Some of the great Firestarter Music acts include Sons of Rico, Boom! Bap! Pow!, Our Man in Berlin, Chaos Divine, Bellusira, Jonny Taylor, Tourist, Verticoli and Triple J’s Unearthed Splendour in the Grass winners, Tired Lion.
