Entries are now open to WIN a surfboard signed by Joel Parkinson, thanks to mySURF.tv and Billabong. This competition is open to Australian residents only, who can give the best answer as to why they deserve to WIN in less than 25 words. For more information check out the terms and conditions

1. CONTEST ENTRY DATES: Contest begins Friday 19th February 2016 at 10:00 a.m. AEST and ends Monday 14th March 2016 at 10:00 a.m. AEST (“Contest Entry Period”).

2. WHO MAY ENTER: Entry is only open to Australian residents. While employees, directors, contractors to, or agencies engaged by mySURF.tv are highly encouraged to enter, these groups are not eligible for the prizes. mySURF.tv reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of the winners. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws.

3. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, you must: (i) subscribe to mySURF.tv mailing list via the mySURF.tv website, (ii) provide your full name and email address and (iii) and answer in 25 words or less why you’d like to win a $1,000 surfboard signed by Joel Parkinson from Billabong valued at $1,000 RRP (collectively, an “Entry”). Entries must be submitted in the format(s) accepted on the mySURF.tv website, additionally they must be created solely by each entrant.

4. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: 
Once submitted, Entries cannot be deleted, cancelled or modified. All Contest entrants are eligible to win the prize during the entire Contest Entry Period. Any violation or attempt to violate this restriction may cause mySURF.tv to disqualify such person from the Contest. 
All Entries must be received by Monday 14th March 2016 at 10:00 a.m. AEST. People can submit multiple entries during this time. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt of any Entry. mySURF.tv reserves the right to disqualify any Entry for any reason, in its sole and absolute discretion.

5. PRIZE JUDGING: At the end of the Contest Entry Period, all eligible Entries received during the applicable promotional period will be judged by a select panel who will serve as judges to determine the winner. The judging will be based on the originality and creativity of the Entry, which shall be determined at the judges’ discretion. mySURF.tv reserves the right to not select a Winner and/or award the total prize pool during the contest Entry Period, in its sole discretion, if it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified Entries.
Judges’ decisions are final and binding.

6. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winner will be notified within forty-eight (48) hours after determination of the winners by e-mail, phone, mail, and/or Facebook comment. If after three (3) attempts to contact a potential winner, we have been unable to do so, he/she will be disqualified. In the event it is determined that a potential winner has not complied with these Official Rules, has failed to execute and return any required documents within the specified time period, has made false statements or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, then such potential winner will be disqualified. Should a winner make any false statement(s) in any document required by mySURF.tv or prize supplier, such winner will be disqualified and required to promptly return the value of his/her prize. If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, or if a potential or winner refuses their prize, at mySURF.tv’s discretion, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner. Further, mySURF.tv reserves the right to forfeit or award any unclaimed or leftover prizes at its sole discretion.

7. PRIZES: Winner will receive a surfboard signed by Joel Parkinson from Billabong valued at $1,000 RRP. All prize details are at mySURF.tv’s sole discretion. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. Federal, state and local taxes and other expenses not specified herein are winners’ sole responsibility. Prizes are non-negotiable and not redeemable for cash, credit or merchandise except as specified. No substitutions or cash redemption of the prizes is permitted except that Sponsor retains the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater retail value. Additional restrictions may apply.

8. ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS: Contestant hereby acknowledges that Entry and all other materials of every kind whatsoever created by contestant relating to the Contest is created for mySURF.tv and mySURF.tv is the sole and exclusive owner, in perpetuity and throughout the universe, of all right, title and interest in and to the Work, including without limitation all copyrights in and to the Work (and all renewals and extensions thereof now or hereafter provided by law) and all the rights therein and thereto, and may exploit the Work (and all rights therein) in any manner throughout the world without restriction. 
By submitting an Entry, contestant acknowledges and agrees that mySURF.tv may obtain many submissions under this Contest and that such Entries may be similar or identical in theme, idea, format or other respects to others submitted under this Contest and/or other contests staged and/or sponsored by mySURF.tv, and waive any and all claims contestant may have had, may have, and/or may have in the future, that any composition, film and/or other works accepted, reviewed and/or used by mySURF.tv (or its designees) may be similar to his/her Entry. Contestant acknowledges and agrees that mySURF.tv does not have now, nor shall any of them have in the future, any duty or liability, direct or indirect, vicarious, contributory, or otherwise, with respect to the infringement or protection of any copyright in and to contestant’s Entry.

9. OTHER CONDITIONS: By participating in the Contest, contestants (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of mySURF.tv and judges, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest, and (iii) represents and warrants that he/she will abide by and comply with Facebook's terms of use. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Contest. mySURF.tv reserves the right to permanently disqualify any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules and void all associated Entries and/or votes.

10. RELEASES: By entering the Contest, contestants agree to release and hold harmless Released Parties from all claims, liability or damage caused or claimed to be caused, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, in connection with participation in this Contest, or acceptance or use of the prize, the substitution of a prize in accordance with these Official Rules, the administration of the Contest, the operation of the website or Released Parties’ use of any of the rights granted herein. Released Parties assume no responsibility for the conduct of any contestant or voter or the responses of anyone appearing in any Entry.
