From acclaimed director Stephen Frears (Philomena, The Queen) and starring two of the best-loved actors of our generation, Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant, Florence Foster Jenkins is an inspiring true story that celebrates the human spirit, the power of music and the passion of amateurs everywhere.

The film tells the true story of a New York heiress and socialite who obsessively pursued her dream of becoming an opera singer.

The voice Florence Foster Jenkins (Streep) heard in her head was beautiful, but to everyone else, it was hilariously awful. Her manager and dearest friend, St Clair Bayfield (Grant), an aristocratic English actor, was determined to protect his beloved from the truth. But when Florence decided to give a public concert at Carnegie Hall in 1944, he knew it was only a matter of time before her beautiful dream would be shattered.

2. Any RACV member who completes an online entry form, available from royalauto.com.au during the Promotion Period will be entered in the draw. Competition commences 12.01am Friday, 22 April 2016 and closes 11.59pm Sunday, 1 May 2016 (the Promotion Period).

3. Competition entry is restricted to one entry per person.

4. This competition is won by chance and entrants are not judged on the quality of their entry.

5. All employees of the promoter or its related bodies corporate and the immediate families of such employees are ineligible to enter. The competition is restricted to residents of the State of Victoria.

6. The draw will take place at 10am on Monday, 2 May 2016 at 550 Princes Hwy, Noble Park North, Victoria.

7. The prize is an in-season double pass ($40) to the movie Florence Foster Jenkins, starring Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant. Total prize value: $800.

8. The first 20 valid entries drawn will win a prize.

9. The passes are valid for an in-season screening of Florence Foster Jenkins, starring Meryl Streep, subject to conditions on the tickets.

10. The winners will be notified by email and/or telephone and their details will be published online at royalauto.com.au.

11. Each prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or taken as cash.

12. The promoter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
