Britz road trip ts and cs


1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of the conditions of entry.

2. Any RACV member who sends their name, RACV member number, address and daytime phone number to RoyalAuto Britz Competition, 550 Princes Hwy, Noble Park North, VIC 3174 or completes an online entry form, available from racv.com.au/royalautocomps, during the Promotion Period will be entered in the draw. Competition opens at 12.01am on Friday, 22 April 2016 and closes 11.59pm on Thursday, 26 May (the Promotion Period).

3. Competition entry is restricted to one entry per person.

4. This competition is won by chance and entrants are not judged on the quality of their entry.

5. All employees of the promoter or its related bodies corporate and the immediate families of such employees are ineligible to enter. The competition is restricted to residents of the State of Victoria.

6. Any eligible RACV member can enter the competition once only.

7. The draw will take place at 11am on Friday, 27 May 2016 at 550 Princes Hwy, Noble Park North, Victoria.

8. The prize is: an Ultimate seven-day 2WD Campervan Road Trip, courtesy of Britz. The total prize pool is $2300.

Prize includes: Like a Local in-trip tablet; unlimited kilometres; Britz inclusive pack, including: Liability reduction option – NIL; single vehicle rollover cover; WiFi, including 1GB of data; extra driver fees; linen exchange; picnic table and chairs; snow chains (if required); baby/booster seat (if required); portable fan heater (if required).

 

9. BRITZ

Britz standard terms and conditions apply (see britz.com.au for details).

This rental is subject to availability at all times. Driver must be over 21 years of age with a full driver’s licence held for at least one year.

Should a foreign licence be in a language other than English it must be accompanied by a current international driving permit issued in the same country as the driver’s licence was issued.

Fuel & location fees are not included. Prize is non-transferrable and not redeemable for cash. If you wish to add extra rental days to your prize, please note that the Britz inclusive pack will apply to these additional days. An alternative liability reduction option for these extra days cannot be selected.

Hire period: 7 days (6 nights)

Valid from: 01 June 2016–31 May 2017 – excluding Easter, school holidays and 16 December 2016–31 January 2017. (subject to availability).

 

10. The first valid entry drawn will win the prize.

11. Prize does not include travel insurance items of a personal nature, meals, government taxes or levies, laundry, telephone calls, tips, transfers to and from departure point, additional nights or room upgrades. Prize is subject to booking availability. Prize is also subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier of the prize. Winner may be required to present credit card at time of booking.

The prize must be redeemed in accordance with any conditions specified by the supplier.

12. The winner will be notified by email and/or telephone, and the winner’s details will be published in RoyalAuto July 2016 and on racv.com.au/royalautocomps.

13. Each prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or taken as cash.

14. The promoter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

15. The promoter is RACV Sales & Marketing Pty Ltd ABN 11 005 258 702, 550 Princes Highway, Noble Park North, Victoria 3174.

16. RACV may substitute or change the supplier of the prize or substitute prizes with cheques to the cash value of prizes at its absolute discretion.

17. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate. The promoter is not liable for any loss or damage, personal injury or death relating to acceptance and use of prizes by winners.

18. The personal information submitted in an entry is collected by the Promoter and will be used for the purpose of conducting the promotion. Personal information supplied by entrants may be provided to related bodies corporate or agencies of the Promoter and third parties involved in promoting or conducting the promotion for the purposes of conducting the promotion and future marketing and publicity communications. Entrants’ details may also be used for future promotions carried out by the promoter. Entrants can request not to receive information about future promotions by calling 13 RACV (13 7228).
