ARIA award-winning singer/songwriter Bob Evans has just released
his fifth studio LP Car Boot Sale and announced a string of national tour dates in August, supported by acclaimed Australian songstress
Melody Pool.
The musical alter-ego of Jebadiah frontman Kevin Mitchell will be performing three consecutive shows in Dunsborough, Northbridge and Fremantle this August.
Evans has been a fixture on the Oz music scene for years, and this album is an accomplished and solid addition to the canon of the Australian troubadour, though a distinct departure from the pop-accented 2013 release Familiar Stranger. Car Boot Sale refers to the “traveling salesman style” of his old school solo tours, and fans will enjoy Evans’ return to his acoustic roots.
