Celtic Illusion is an Irish dance and magical illusion spectacular that boasts electrifying choreography, and it's set to blow audiences away. Led by Australia’s very own Anthony Street – the first Australian to perform the lead role in Michael Flatley’s widely acclaimed Lord of the Dance – the stage show infuses electrifying modern Irish dance with elements of contemporary, commercial jazz and acrobatic styles.

Street, who performs the multi-faceted roles of director, choreographer and lead dancer of the production, said that the September tour had been scheduled due to the incredible success of Celtic Illusion to date and an increasing demand for more shows. "Celtic Illusion showcases a stellar cast of champion and internationally acclaimed dancers, including performers from both Riverdance and Lord of the Dance and audiences will experience some of the fastest tap dancing in the world at the show."

In a story not unlike that of Billy Elliot, Street himself grew up surrounded by motorbikes, racing cars, hunting and football before he first fell in love with Riverdance. With the assistance of his grandmother he began taking Irish dancing lessons in secret and shortly before 2000, he joined the Australian Irish Dance Company going on to perform at numerous venues including the Sydney Opera House. At the tender age of 19, Anthony set off on a five-month tour that would turn into a 13-year career visiting over 20 countries, including a residency in Dublin. He was eventually invited to audition for Lord of the Dance and spent almost five years as a principal dancer for the world famous show before going on to produce his very own show, Celtic Illusion in 2011. Today, in the ultimate paradox, Anthony works as a demolition man by day and hits the stage by night.
