The first half of 2016 has been crazier than cray for L-Fresh The Lion and things are just heating up. After smashing shows as main support on the recent Urthboy ‘Second Heartbeat Tour’, L-Fresh and team are prepared to pounce, launching his new album Become and bringing hype to Canberra.

Become (released May 13) has been met with high praise and quickly accumulated accolades from critics and fans alike. It landed a 4-star review from us, where Rory McCartney commented, "L-Fresh draws inspiration from issues impacting the Sikh community in Punjab as well as social problems in Australia". The album has already landed in a handful of ‘best album’s of 2016 so far’ lists, and his recent release of ‘1 in 100,000 (Redux) featuring Raxstar’ received love in the UK with an exclusive worldwide premiere on BBC Asian Network.

Joining him on this monster of a tour is fresh Big Village signee Omar Musa, announcing only last week that he will be brandishing a new EP called Dead Centre (released August 5th), along with rousing spoken word poet Sukhjit, who recently took the country by storm with her appearance on Australia’s Got Talent. Without a doubt, this is a show not to missed!
