Now in its 34th year, Melbourne Fringe is Australia’s most adventurous, inclusive, all-encompassing multi-artform festival with more than 6000 artists, over 400 events in 160 metro and regional venues.

This kooky tale slash circus comedy for kids speaks of facing up to adversity and turning your supposed foibles into your finest attribute.

2. Mr Snot Bottom’s Stinky Silly Show - one family pass for four (valued at $68) for Tuesday 20 September at 1pm

Dedicated children’s comedian Mr. Snot Bottom is brimming with all the gooey, smelly and yucky topics kids love. Be repulsed by horrible stories, gross gags and just wrong routines in this rollercoaster of weirdness.

 3. Peta and the Whale - one family pass for four (valued at $72) for Tuesday 27 September at 10am

After a sell-out premiere season in 2015, Peta and the Whale is back! The story of Peta’s sea adventure is told through puppetry, images and music, large animated projections and an impressive range of puppet techniques.

Ages: 3+
Duration: 50 minutes
Tickets: $20 per person, group discounts available
