The sleepover kit contains 3 separate bags; a perfume kit, bath bomb kit and the bracelet kit.

1. Perfume Kit

The perfume kit includes 4 fragrance base cards; rose, mint, eucalyptus and jasmine. This kit teaches children the techniques of extracting, separating and filtering. It also encourages them to mix and match and make special formulas of their own. Whilst they are having fun experimenting, they are learning about top and bottom notes and perfumery.
2. Bath Bomb Kit

The bath bomb kit contains gloves, safety goggles, and everything you will need to create your own bath bombs. Mix the chemicals together and add the red liquid colouring and water (you can even add drops of perfume you just made from the perfume kit). Press the mixture into the mould and wait for the bath bombs to harden. Then you can have fun by dropping them into bath water! This kit also contains illustrations for extra activities you can do with the chemicals.
3. Bracelet Kit

The bracelet kit contains clear pvc tubing, which you cut to the length desired. For each bracelet, insert one end of the tube connector and fill with whatever you like and secure back to the other end of the tube connector. You can fill them with coloured beads, coloured sand, water with glitter, or even water with beads. Decorate them with the glow in the dark stickers and away you go. This kit makes up to six bracelets that are able to be pulled apart and re-designed.
The Verdict:
The sleepover party kit is a huge science kit designed for children 8+ years of age. It encourages friends to get together and have heaps of fun, whilst creating and experimenting.
I really didn’t realise how much was in this kit until I watched the girls playing. There are 3 main kits, but then there were extra experiments and ideas. It kept them busy for hours!
I was really impressed by the instructions in this kit. They were step by step, colourful and best of all very clear. Miss 9 had no trouble at all following them on her own without any guidance. I also loved that this kit provided everything they would need to create each experiment, all in labelled bags. No running around the house trying to find bits and pieces (the only items I added was a cup and tray).
Overall, I thought this was a fantastic science kit that encouraged creativity and lots of experimenting!!

It was fun to do science experiments with my friends!
Perfume kit – I liked making the different perfumes because it was fun to learn how to create different scents.
Bracelet kit – I liked the bead and glitter bracelets the best, because they looked really cool and made a noise when you shook them.
Bath bomb kit – my favourite part of this kit was using the bath bomb chemicals to make the volcano like eruptions. I loved seeing it explode! I learnt that when you combine different chemicals they can create a reaction.
