ANZ Taronga Zoo Promotion - Terms and Conditions

    Information on how to enter the promotion forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
    The promotion commences at 9.00am (AEST) on 12 September 2016 and closes at 11.59pm (AEST) on 29 September 2016 (“Promotional Period”).
    Entry is open to New South Wales residents who are over the age of 18. Employees of the Promoter (and their immediate families) and its subsidiaries and related companies and any agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter (“Eligible Entrants”). The Promoter reserves the right to request that the winners provide proof of identification, age and Australian residency prior to receiving a prize. Proof of identification, age, and residency considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to validate and check the authenticity of any prize claim or entry before awarding a prize.
    To enter the promotion, participants must during the Promotional Period visit anz.com/tarongaparty, complete all entry details requirements, and upon viewing an illustration of zoo animals, answer the question: “Which animal is holding the golden ticket?”, and be available to accept the prize as stated if they are a winner (on the event date included in condition 8 of these Terms & Conditions). All correctly answered eligible entries will receive one entry the draw. One entry per person is permitted.
    The Promoter is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any communications network or any late, lost, incorrectly submitted, delayed, ineligible, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected entry whether due to error, transmission interruption or otherwise.
    There will be one prize draw and two hundred and thirty (230) winners. The draw will take place at 2.00pm (AEST) on 30 September 2016 (‘Draw Date’) at the offices of Mike Da Silva and Associates (Aust) Pty Ltd (ABN 50 003 894 022) ('MDSA') at 15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089. The draw will be conducted by MDSA.
    The result of the draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winners will be notified in writing within 2 business days of the Draw Date and their names will be published on anz.com/tarongaparty on 3 October 2016.
    The first 230 eligible entries drawn will each receive a Family Pass for four (4) people to attend the Taronga Zoo 100 Year Birthday Celebration at 9.30am (AEST) on 7 October 2016.

    The maximum retail value of each prize is $129.60. Total maximum prize pool value is $29,808 including GST. Prizes will be delivered via electronic mail by Moshtix to the winner’s nominated electronic mail address within 2 days of the winners being notified, subject to the winner confirming with Moshtix by email to enable the prize to be delivered. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation of the value of the prize.
    Prizes must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. The prizes are not transferable to another person (unless agreed by the Promoter) or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed for cash. Each prize may only be used on the date (and, if applicable, at the time) indicated. Any element of a prize that is unused will be forfeited and no compensation will be paid in lieu of that element of the prize.
    The prizes do not include travel to and from the event location and is the responsibility of each winner and their companions.
    In the event that any component of the Prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute that Prize component with another prize of equal value and the Prize Winner will be notified accordingly, subject to State legislation.
    If for any reason a winner does not take an element of the prize during the stated period, and on the conditions stipulated by the Promoter (and those of any prize supplier), then that element of the prize will be forfeited and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at the event.
    The Promoter, its related bodies corporate, and their respective officers, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion, the promotion of this promotion or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
    If for any reason the promotion or prize is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to as a result of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion), the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations and the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
