BOOK REVIEW:
Authors of the new cookbook ‘Eat Local’, Brenda Fawdon and Christine Sharp are passionate about eating local and real food. This passion has led them to move to the Scenic Rim – and to write about and photograph the local producers for their cookbook. The result is a stunning hard-cover book, full of their conversations with the men, women, and children behind the scenes. It also includes over 60 recipes using wholesome ingredients inspired by the farmers, growers and makers of the Scenic Rim. You definitely want this book on your coffee table – or better still, in your kitchen.

Special thanks to Scenic Rim Eat Local Week for the prize donation. The next Eat Local Week festival takes place in the Scenic Rim from 24 June to 2 July 2017. We can definitely recommend it!
