When you think of a car show you think of a room filled with Ferrari’s, Porsche’s, Lamborghini’s, Maserati’s... all the luxury cars that we’re destined to look at but never touch!

This October, Marto and Ed are going to turn car shows on their head by celebrating the everyday cars, the first cars, the family bombs, and the lemons with the very first Clapped Out Car Show.

 A car show created to showcase the most (and hardest) loved cars from all around Brisbane. A day where we can all come together let them be judged on their experience and character and not spit and polish. (kind of like how we judge Marto)

Entrants must be 18 years or older and must hold a valid Queensland driver's license or QLD Customer Reference Number (CRN).

Entrants must be the registered owner of their nominated “Clapped Out Car”.

Entrants must be able to attend and bring their nominated “Clapped Out Car” to Marto & Eds Clapped Out Car Show event on Friday 14 October 2016 (location TBC) (“the Event”), and they may be required to attend to “bump in” with their car at the Event location on Thursday 13 November 2016 as directed by the Promoter.

Entry is only open to residents of Queensland.

Entrants can enter once only.

1. To enter, entrants must during the Online Registration Period, visit the Website and register their details, including by answering any question(s) as required at the point of entry and submitting photo(s) of their “Clapped Out Car”.
2. Throughout the Online Registration Period the Promoter will judge entries to determine Finalists. Finalists’ entries will be published on the Website throughout the Online Registration Period and they will be required to attend the Event with their “Clapped Out Car” in order to be eligible to win a prize.
3. At the Event, the Promoter will judge the entries and cars of all Finalists to determine one (1) Major Prize winner and nine (9) Minor Prize winners. Winners will be announced at the Event.

All judging decisions are at the discretion of the Promoter and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard. Judging criteria: All entries will be judged on creativity, literary merit, originality and suitability or as otherwise specified.

Prize Claim Date & Time: 17 November 2016 at 4pm AEST
If a prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date & Time, the winner forfeits the prize. In this case, the Promoter will award the prize in accordance with the Unclaimed Prize Arrangements below.

If a prize is not claimed by the Prize Claim Date & Time or if an entrant or entry is deemed invalid in accordance with the Conditions of Entry, the Promoter will award the relevant prize to another valid entrant in accordance with the method outlined in the Entry Procedure/Judging Details.

The Promoter will provide each Finalist with documentation to confirm their entry to the Promotion. Each Finalist must complete and return the mandatory documentation as instructed by the Promoter (including but not necessarily limited to):
a) A signed copy of these Terms and Conditions;
b) A copy of photo identification (drivers licence or other form of identification as approved at the Promoter’s discretion);
c) A Southern Cross Austereo performance release form;
d) A personal details profile form.
By entering this Promotion, all entrants hereby acknowledge that the Event may be photographed and/or filmed for the purposes of marketing and publicity.
All Finalists and other Event attendees will be required to follow the instructions of the Promoter and their nominated agents and/or promotional partners and suppliers at all times during the Event. Any individuals at the Event who fail to follow the instructions of the Promoter and their nominated agents and/or promotional partners and suppliers may be asked to leave the Event site, and may be disqualified from the Promotion.
All Finalists participate in the Event – and travel to and from the Event – at their own risk.
The location of the Event is at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. Event location may change without prior warning. The Promoter may request that the Finalists stand in a particular area/order and may provide reasonable instructions to the Finalists, which the Finalists must abide by.
In the case of extreme or wet weather, at the Promoter’s discretion the Promoter reserves the right to postpone the Event at any time. The Promoter will not be held liable for any such necessary changes and Finalists will not be compensated in any way.
