In 1976 Robert ‘Bob’ Stein, a young Sydney builder come businessman and keen fly fisher, headed to the wine-growing region of Mudgee and established a small vineyard and winery. Today the winemaking duties have been taken over by Bob’s grandson Jacob, who has taken the wines from strength to strength. The winery has received a Five Red Star rating by James Halliday.

From the multi-trophy winning Robert Stein Riesling to their Chardonnay and Shiraz, Mudgee is proving to be one of Australia’s most diverse, premium wine growing regions.
